تلقى الدراسة الضوء على أهمية جمعية الناشرين السعوديين في النشر السعودي والخدمات التي تقدمها إلى أعضائها الناشرين، ويتمثل مجتمع الدراسة بالأعضاء الحاصلين على عضوية في جمعية الناشرين السعوديين، وقد تم إتباع المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في هذه الدراسة، وللدراسة ستة أهداف وهي كالتالي: 1- التعرف على دور جمعية الناشرين السعوديين في النشر السعودي. 2- التعرف على أسباب محدودية استخدام التقنية الحديثة. 3- التعرف على الخدمات المقدمة من جمعية الناشرين السعوديين لأعضائها. 4- التعرف على أهم إنجازات جمعية الناشرين السعوديين خلال الـــ 12 سنة الماضية من بداية تأسسيها. 5- إيصال صوت الناشرين السعوديين للجمعية. 6-تقديم مجموعة من المقترحات والتوصيات تساهم في رفع مستوى جمعية الناشرين السعوديين. وقد كانت نتائج الدراسة: 1- معرفة دور جمعية الناشرين السعوديين في النشر السعودي وكانت الإجابة أن أجمعت نسبة (%83.3) أنه لا يتم ذلك، وذلك بمتوسط حسابي (1.83) وانحراف معياري (.383). 2- كانت النتائج تشير إلى عدم استخدام الجمعية للتقنية الحديثة، وقد يرجع ذلك لضعف الدعم المادي المقدم لها، بالإضافة إلى قلة التقنيات الحديثة الموجودة بالجمعية، وعدم وجود فريق عمل مدرب ومؤهل لاستخدام تلك التقنيات. 3- إن أهم الخدمات التي تقدمها جمعية الناشرين السعوديين لأعضائها هي إتاحة الجمعية للناشرين مشاركتهم في المعارض المحلية والدولية. 4- تمكنت من إنشاء موقع خدمات لها على شبكة الإنترنت ولكنه غير فعال. 5- معرفة المقترحات والتوصيات التي تساهم في رفع مستوى جمعية الناشرين السعوديين، والتي كان من أهمها: تحسين مقر الجمعية، وتوفير موظفين متواجدين ومؤهلين، التسويق للمشتركين، الدعم المادي من قبل الحكومة للجمعية.
The study highlights the importance of the Saudi Publishers Association in the Saudi publishing field and the services, it provides to its publishing members. The study community consists of members of the Saudi Publishers Association. The analytical, descriptive approach was followed in this study. 1- Recognizing the role of the Saudi Publishers Association in the Saudi publishing. 2- Recognizing the reasons for the limited use of modern technology. 3- Recognizing the services provided by the Saudi Publishers Association to its members. 4- Recognizing the most important achievements of the Saudi Publishers Association during the last 12 years from the beginning of its establishment 5- Conveying the voice of the Saudi publishers to the association. 6- Presenting a number of suggestions and recommendations that contribute to raising the level of the Saudi Publishers Association. The results of the study were; 1- Knowing the role of the Saudi Publishers Association in the Saudi publishing. The answer was that (83.3%) said that it has not been done with an average of 1.83 and a standard deviation of (383). 2- The results indicate that the association does not use modern technology, which may be due to the weak financial support provided to them, in addition to the lack of modern technologies in the association, and the lack of a team of the association trained and qualified to use these techniques. 3- The most important services provided by the Saudi Publishers Association to its members is to allow the Association of publishers to participate in local and international exhibitions. 4- The study managed to create a website services on the Internet, but, it`s not effective. 5- Knowing the suggestions and recommendations that contribute to raising the level of the Saudi Publishers Association, which were importantly: improving the headquarters of the association, and providing staff available and qualified, marketing to subscribers, financial support by the government to the association.
