المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة والاعتماد في تطوير أداء الجامعات السعودية؛ من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي التحليلي. وتمثلت الأداة في استبانة تم توزيعها على عينة بلغت (626) من أعضاء هيئة التدريس في خمس جامعات سعودية؛ من مختلف المناطق الإدارية وهي جامعات (أم القري، الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل، نجران، والحدود الشمالية، وشقراء) وباستخدام البرنامج (SPSS) في معالجة وتحليل البيانات؛ كشفت نتائج الدراسة الآتي: حصول عموم الأداة على متوسط كلي (3.44 من 5) بدرجة تطبيق (كبيرة) وعلى مستوى المحاور الرئيسة؛ حصل عموم تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة والاعتماد على متوسط (3.50) أما المجالات الفرعية؛ فحصل مجال صياغة الرسالة والأهداف على أعلى متوسط (3.73)، يليه التعليم والتعلم بمتوسط (3.69) ثم إدارة شؤون الطلاب (3.50) وجميعها بتقدير لفظي (بدرجة كبيرة)، ورابعا: مجال إدارة البرنامج وضمان جودته بمتوسط (3.38) ثم مصادر التعلم والمرافق والتجهيزات بمتوسط (3.34)، وأخيرا؛ استقطاب أعضاء هيئة التدريس بمتوسط (3.33) وبدرجة تطبيق (متوسطة) لكل منها، أما على مستوى مجالات تطوير الأداء؛ فقد حصل مجال التعليم والتعلم على متوسط (3.46) ثم خدمة المجتمع (3.45) وكلاهما بدرجة أداء (كبيرة)، وأخيرا: البحث العلمي بمتوسط (3.24) وبدرجة (متوسطة)، كما بينت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباط موجبة؛ دالة إحصائيا بين (تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة والاعتماد) و(أداء الجامعات السعودية) حيث بلغت درجة الارتباط (0.87) وجاءت قيمة معامل التحديد (0.76)، وتشير إلى درجة ارتباط (كبيرة). كما لم توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين إجابات العينة تبعا لمتغير (الكلية)؛ واستنادا للنتائج قدم الباحث جملة من التوصيات لتطوير الجامعات السعودية وتفعيل أداءها. كما قدم مقترحات بدراسات حول معوقات تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي بالجامعات. والآليات الفعالة التي من شأنها المحافظة على ضمان الجودة، وحصول الجامعات على الاعتماد الأكاديمي؛ محليا وعالميا.

The study aimed to identify the impact of applying quality assurance and accreditation standards on developing the performance of Saudi universities from the the perspectives of faculty members. The researcher used the descriptive analytical survey method. The tool consisted of a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (626) faculty members in five Saudi universities located in different administrative regions, namely universities (Umm Al-Qura, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal, Najran, the northern border, and Shaqraa) and using the program (SPSS) in processing and analyzing data. The results of the study revealed the following: the overall tool obtained an overall means (3.44 out of 5) with a (large) degree of application and at the level of the main axes; The general implementation of quality assurance and accreditation standards scored (3.50) means, as for the sub-fields. The field of formulating the mission and goals scored the highest means (3.73), followed by teaching and learning with (3.69) means scores, then Student Affairs Administration (3.50), all with a verbal estimate (with a large degree), and fourth: the field of program management and ensuring its quality with means of (3.38), then learning resources, facilities and equipment Average (3.34), and finally; Attracting faculty members with an means of (3.33) and an application degree (medium) for each, As for the areas of performance development; The field of education and learning got (3.46), then community service (3.45), both of which have a (large) performance degree, and finally scientific research with (3.24) means and (medium) degree The results also showed a positive correlation. Statistical function between application of quality assurance and accreditation standards and the performance of Saudi universities, where the degree of correlation was (0.87) and the value of the coefficient of determination obtained (0.76), and it indicates a large degree of correlation. There were also no statistically significant differences between the sample’s responces according to the college variable. Based on the results, the researcher provided a set of recommendations to develop Saudi universities and activate their performance. He also presented proposals for studies on the obstacles to implementing the standards of quality assurance and academic accreditation in universities. He also provided effective mechanisms that will ensure quality assurance, and universities obtain academic accreditationocally and internationally.
