العمل الفني لكي يكون ناجحا ...لابد وأن يحمل شيئا من الانفعال والمشاعر التي استثارت الفنان في العالم المحيط به وبدون هذه المشاعر التي تحملها الأشكال والعناصر لا يحقق الفنان فنا. لذلك الفن التشكيلي وخاصة فن التصوير يشترك مع غيره من الفنون الأخرى في إبراز تصور ما أو استثارة عاطفة أو تأكيد تجربة. والفن التشكيلي رصد وعبر عن كل الحركات السياسية في الفترة الأخيرة وخاصة ثورتي 25 يناير و30 يونيو وتمثل ذلك في أعمال كثير من الفنانين أمثال الفنان طه قرني حيث رصد لقطات مختلفة من أجواء الثورة وعبر عنها بجداريات تحمل روح الثورة. تطلق الثورات الشعبية الكثير من الطاقات الإبداعية للشعوب، وإذا كان يقاس نجاح أو فشل الثورات بتحقيق أهدافها السياسية والاجتماعية: فإن العامل الثقافي وتغيير ثقافات الشعوب، أو كما نقول "تحرير العقول"، يعتبر من الإنجازات الهامة التي تقاس بها حيوية الثورات من عدمها. تعتبر الأعمال التشكيلية عامة وفن التصوير خاصة تعبيرا ومصدرا هاما لتشريح الرؤية الفلسفية والعقائدية والفكرية للمجتمع. وعبرت أعمال التصوير التي واكبت فترات الثورات في مصر عن شتي مجالات الحياة الاجتماعية داخل المجتمع المصري، فمن خلال تحليل هذه الأعمال هل يمكن التوصل إلى صياغات تشكيلية ومعالجات تصويرية مختلفة يمكن أن تثري الحركة التشكيلية المعاصرة؟ وهل تبادل الجوانب الاجتماعية في فترة الثورات تعتبر معين خصب للاستلهام لدي الفنان؟ أن هذه الجوانب لم يتم التوجه لها من قبل بحثيا رغم أهميتها من حيث التشكيل والفكر الإبداعي.
