المستخلص: The research is an attempt to distinguish between the science of directing readings and the science of protesting readings, which many of the former and late did not distinguish between them, and the researcher suggested the correctness of what some of them went to distinguish between them and their priority, and added inference through this three research topics; Which: - Differentiate between them through the definition and significance of the two terms. - Differentiate between them through the motives they mentioned for the scholars writing about them. - Differentiate between them through the types of each. The difference between them was clearly demonstrated by definition and types, and the difference between them is almost not apparent through the motives for large participation in them. And the folds of that showed benefits and investigations to guard against the requirements of linguistic guidance science, especially asserting that the reference of readers is constant transmission and not guidance, but guidance to indicate the face and the reason for selection, not proof of reading, and other benefits and investigations As for the conclusion, it contained the results of the research and highlighting additions, the most important of which is the weighting of differentiation through definition, motives and types, and included important recommendations that inspired the experience and suffering of the research. البحث عبارة عن محاولة للتفريق الدقيق بين علم توجيه القراءات وعلم الاحتجاج للقراءات، اللذين لم يفرق بينهما كثير من السابقين والمتأخرين، وقد رجح الباحث صواب ما ذهب إليه بعضهم من التفرقة بينهما وأولويتها، وأضاف الاستدلال على ذلك من خلال مباحث البحث الثلاثة؛ وهي: -التفريق بينهما من خلال التعريف ودلالة المصطلحين. -التفريق بينهما من خلال دوافع التأليف فيهما. -التفريق بينهما من خلال أنواع كل منهما. وقد تبين بشكل جلي الفرق بينهما من خلال التعريف والأنواع، ويكاد لا يظهر الفرق بينهما من خلال الدوافع للاشتراك الكبير فيها. وبين ثنايا ذلك فوائد وتحقيقات للاحتراز من لوازم علم التوجيه اللغوي خاصة تأكيد أن مرجعية القراء هي النقل الثابت وليس التوجيه، إنما التوجيه لبيان وجه الاختيار وسببه، لا إثبات القراءة، وغير ذلك من فوائد وتحقيقات. أما الخاتمة فقد حوت نتائج البحث وإبراز الإضافات، التي أهمها ترجيح التفريق من خلال التعريف والدوافع والأنواع، وحوت توصيات مهمة من وحي التجربة ومعاناة البحث. والله الموفق وهو يهدي السبيل.
