المستخلص: The study aimed to identify the relationship between good governance and sustainable development in the municipalities of the Gaza Strip. To conduct this study, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach. The study population consisted of 3475 workers in the municipalities of the Gaza Strip. The researchers prepared a questionnaire for the purpose of the research as a main tool, and it was distributed to Employees working in the municipalities of the Gaza Strip, which were distributed to more than 400 employees and 345 questionnaires retrieved, at a rate of 86%. The results of the study showed a direct relationship between the principles of governance (accountability, transparency, decentralization, internal systems, and strategic vision) in the municipalities of the Gaza Strip and development Sustainable, as well as showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the averages of respondents' opinions on achieving sustainable development attributable to personal variables. The study concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which are strengthening the principles of governance, and the necessity for municipalities to put in place practical mechanisms and internal regulations to enhance the application of principles of good governance, especially with regard to transparency and accountability, as well as the need to develop special training programs for workers in the organization in accordance with the necessary needs to ensure the successful application of the principles of sound governance.

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين الحوكمة الرشيدة والتنمية المستدامة في بلديات قطاع غزة، ولإجراء هذه الدراسة استخدم الباحثون المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من العاملين في بلديات قطاع غزة والبالغ عددهم 3475، وأعد الباحثون استبانة لغرض البحث كأداة رئيسية، وتم توزيعها على الموظفين العاملين في بلديات قطاع غزة والتي تم توزيعها على أكثر من 400 موظف وتم استرداد 345 استبانة بنسبة 86 %، أظهرت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة طردية بين مبادئ الحوكمة (المساءلة، الشفافية، اللامركزية، الأنظمة الداخلية، الرؤية الاستراتيجية) في بلديات قطاع غزة والتنمية المستدامة، وأظهرت كذلك أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات آراء المبحوثين حول تحقيق التنمية المستدامة تعزى إلى المتغيرات الشخصية. وخلصت الدراسة إلى عدة توصيات من أهمها تعزيز مبادئ الحوكمة، وضرورة قيام البلديات بوضع آليات عملية ولوائح داخلية لتعزيز تطبيق مبادئ الحكم الرشيد، وخاصة فيما يتعلق بالشفافية والمساءلة إلى جانب ضرورة تطوير برامج تدريبية خاصة للعاملين في المنظمة وفق الاحتياجات اللازمة لضمان نجاح تطبيق مبادئ الحكم الرشيد.
