المستخلص: The international Moroccan emigration is old and primarily the Middle East and Africa contrary to the less ancient one towards Europe which dates for about a century, it has been eminent since the independence of Morocco. Several political, economic and social factors explain that emigration. Now, the number of national Moroccans resident in foreign countries reaches 4 millions, which represents about 10% of Moroccan population, mostly installed in Europe at the height of 85%. Their financial transfers toward morocco exceed the $6 billion, which represents the 3nd source of currencies after the tourism and Phosphates revenues, and which is in 3rd place in the MENA area after Egypt Lebanon and in which the region of the oriental holds the share of lion cornering the number and area of transfers and financial deposits. The Moroccans resident in foreign countries constitute, by their skills, know how, relational and transfers and financial deposits, a spearhead of the attractiveness, improvement in the region of the Oriental and consequently its development.

L’émigration internationale marocaine est ancienne et concernait principalement le Moyen Orient et l’Afrique. Celle vers l’Europe est moins ancienne, elle date d’un siecle environ. Elle a pris de l’ampleur depuis l’indépendance du Maroc. Plusieurs facteurs expliquent l’e¢migration des marocains notamment politique, économique et social. Le nombre des marocains residents a l’étranger (MRE) avoisine aujourd’hui les 4 millions de personnes, représentant 10 % de la population marocaine, majoritairement installés en Europe a hauteur de 85 %. Leurs transferts financiers vers le Maroc dépassent les 6 milliards de dollars, en troisieme place dans la zone MENA apres l’ Egypte et le Liban. Ils représentent la 3eme source en devises aprés le tourisme et les recettes des phosphates au Maroc. La région de l’oriental détient la part du lion en nombre et en matiére de transferts et de depots financiers. Les MRE constituent, par leurs transferts et dépdts financiers, leurs competences, leurs relationnels, leurs savoirs faire et expériences, un fer de lance pour l’amélioration de ’attractivitée de la region de l’Oriental et par conséquent son développement.
