تتمثل الوظيفة التربوية لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيما ينبغي أن تقوم به تلك المواقع في بناء الإنسان المعاصر وإكسابه القيم والمبادئ العليا والمعتقدات والأفكار الصحيحة التي يؤمن بها المجتمع ويربي أبناءه عليها، والتي لا يمكن أن تتحقق إلا من خلال رصد أدوارها المتعدد. وفي ضوء ذلك يسعى البحث إلى رصد وتحليل التراث الفكري على المستويين العربي والدولي، بهدف التعرف على الاتجاهات النظرية والمنهجية الحديثة في بحوث الوظيفة التربوية لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، واستخلاص رؤية مستقبلية وأجندة بحثية مقترحة لتطوير تلك البحوث. وينتمي البحث إلى نوعية البحوث الوصفية التحليلية، والتي تعتمد على منهج التحليل من المستوى الثاني، حيث تم الاعتماد على المسح الميداني للمكتبة وشبكات المعلومات ومسح المضمون لبحوث الوظيفة التربوية لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في الفترة من يناير 2014م حتى ديسمبر 2018م. واستخدم الباحث أسلوب الحصر الشامل للبحوث والدراسات العربية، بينما اعتمد على أسلوب العينة العمدية في اختيار البحوث والدراسات الأجنبية، وشملت العينة (212) بحثاً ومؤلفاً، منها (118) مصدراً عربياً، و(94) مصدراً أجنبياً. وخلص البحث إلى رصد عدة اتجاهات بحثية تمثلت في قياس التأثيرات الإيجابية والسلبية لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث اتضحت الآثار الإيجابية في استخدامها كتقنية حديثة في مجال التعليم وفي التواصل والتفاعل، وأنها أداة مفيدة للتدريس وتساعد في عملية التحصيل الدراسي وتنمية المفاهيم العلمية، فضلاً عن دورها في تعزيز العلاقات الاجتماعية وتكوين الصداقات، وتخفيف التوتر والقلق والقضاء على مشاكل الخجل والانطواء، بينما تمثلت الآثار السلبية في إدمان تلك المواقع، والشعور بالاكتئاب والعزلة الاجتماعية. ومن الاتجاهات الحديثة التي رصدها العرض التحليلي والتي يمكن أن ينتج عنها إضافات نظرية في المستقبل، بحوث استخدامات وإشباعات شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي التي أصبحت أكثر تركيزاً على قضايا كشف الهوية وسلوكيات الصداقة والخصوصية على هذه الشبكات، والعلاقة بين رأس المال الاجتماعي وبين استخدام هذه الشبكات. أيضاً اتجاه بعض البحوث والدراسات العربية عينة التحليل إلى المزج بين بعض المداخل والنماذج والنظريات الإعلامية من ناحية، والمداخل والنظريات الاجتماعية أو النفسية من ناحيةٍ أخرى. بينما اتجهت أغلب البحوث والدراسات الأجنبية موضع التحليل إلى الاستناد إلى نظرية أو نموذج أو مدخل واحد فقط والتعمق في دراسته. وتمثلت الرؤى المقترحة بشأن الوظيفة التربوية لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في إعادة النظر في مداخل ونماذج ونظريات الإعلام التقليدية، والعمل على تطويرها بما يناسب اختلاف ظواهر الإعلام الاجتماعي. والاتجاه نحو توظيف المنهج التجريبي وشبه التجريبي، والمنهج المقارن، ومنهج التحليل النقدي بشكل متزايد خاصة في البحوث والدراسات البينية، وضرورة تبني اتجاه بحثي يجمع بين استخدام الأدوات الكمية والكيفية في بحوث الوظيفة التربوية لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وضرورة إعادة النظر في أسلوب تحليل المضمون بصورته التقليدية، من خلال العمل على تطوير فئات التحليل بما يناسب سمات محتوى مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
Social media function in education is to build a contemporary man armed with lofty values, principles and beliefs while providing him with the true ideas in which society believes and obliges its people to embrace it. This in turn can only be achieved through examining its multiple roles. As such, the research aims to monitor and analyze the intellectual heritage at the Arab- and international- levels , in order to identify the modern theoretical and methdological trends in the research that investigate the function of social media in education , and to draw a future vision and form an agenda for further research. The research belongs to the descriptive analytical research, which depends on the methodology of second- level analysis, where it used the field survey for the library and information networks and content survey for the research of social media‟ educational function during the period from (January 2014) to (December 2018). The researcher used the comprehensive inventory method for Arab research and studies, and purposive sampling for selecting foreign research and studies. The sample included (212) research and authors (118 Arabic resources and 94 foreign resources). At the end, the research found several research trends that is to monitor and measure the positive and negative effects of social media sites, as it is found that positive effects can be used as a recent technology in education and communication besides its being a tool that improves teaching process and academic achievement and develops scientific concepts, as well as promoting social relations, easing stress and anxiety and eliminating shyness and unsociability problems, while the negative effects are crystallizing into the addiction of those sites, and the feeling of depression and social isolation. Recent trends found by the analytical method that enhance theoretical arena in the future include research on the use and saturation of social media sites that have become more concentrated on issues of identity, friendship behaviors and privacy on these sites, and the relationship between social capital and the use of these networks. Also, it is found that some of the Arabic research and studies under consideration turned to mixing between some of media approaches, models and theories on the one hand, and social and psychological approaches or theories on the other. In contrast, most of the foreign research and studies under study tended to rely on only one theory, model or approach and deeply investigate it. The proposed visions on social media function in education are to reconsider and develop the approaches, models and theories of traditional media to suit different social media phenomena ; increasingly employ the experimental, semi-experimental, comparative, and critical analysis methods, especially in interdisciplinary research and studies, and adopting a research approach that combines the use of quantitative and qualitative instruments in the research of social media educational function; reconsider the method of content analysis in its traditional form, through the development of categories of analysis to match the features of social media sites content.
