المستخلص: Al-Jahiz’s views are among the oldest opinions that root for the method of doubt in the verbal, philosophical and literary heritage of the Arabs, as he is the owner of numerous works that reveal the prevalence of philosophical and methodological spirit in its folds. After deliberation and scrutiny, skepticism represents a scientific mechanism that is based on precise objective foundations, as it is a mental approach based on specific steps aimed at not completely accepting prejudices without strong proof, and rejecting answers that are not based on specific criteria. This research aims to study the problem of suspicion by Al-Jahiz, by answering the following questions: - Did Al- Jahish’s suspicion rise to become a philosophical approach?. - Can it be considered a theory that includes a set of issues that constitute among them a knowledge system that leads to building a number of conclusions supported by the data of observation, observation, experimentation, comparison, criticism and interpretation ..?. - Did the suspicion include clear steps that Al-Jahiz applied when studying specific aspects of his philosophy? So he moved the process of doubt from theory to practice?. It has adopted in this research several methods that suit its nature, namely the philosophical analytical approach, the historical approach, and the linguistic approach, and this study was divided into a summary, an introduction that included the definition of the research topic and its aim and the reasons that led the researcher to his research and the study method, and four sections are: The first: the effect of Islam on shaping the mental view of Al-Jahiz. The second: The effect of the Abbasid culture on forming the mental direction of Al-Jahiz. The third: the mind when the bigeye. Fourth: The problem of doubt at Al-Jahiz is between theory and practice. Then I mentioned the research conclusion and the results of the study, the sources and references are arranged in the text and margins.

إن آراء الجاحظ من أقدم الآراء التي تؤصل لمنهج الشك في التراث الكلامي والفلسفي والأدبي عند العرب، فهو صاحب المصنفات العديد التي تكشف عن شيوع الروح الفلسفية والمنهجية في ثناياها، ففكره قائم على دقة الملاحظة وعمق النظر والتحليل والمقارنة والنقد، وكشف المتناقضات والمغالطات في الأفكار المطروحة عليه بعد تأن وتمحيص، والشك عنده يمثل آلية علمية تقوم على أسس موضوعية دقيقة، فهو منهج عقلي يقوم على خطوات محددة تهدف إلى عدم التسليم المطلق بالأحكام المسبقة دون برهان قوي، ورفض الأجوبة التي لا تقوم على معايير محددة. ويهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة مشكلة الشك عند الجاحظ، من خلال الإجابة على الأسئلة الآتية: - هل ارتقى الشك عند الجاحظ ليصبح منهجا فلسفيا؟ - هل يمكن اعتباره نظرية تشتمل على مجموعة من القضايا التي تشكل فيما بينها نسقا معرفيا يقود إلى بناء عدد من الاستنتاجات التي تدعمها معطيات الملاحظة والمشاهدة والتجريب والمقارنة والنقد والتفسير ...؟. - هل اشتمل الشك على خطوات واضحة طبقها الجاحظ عند دراسته لجوانب محددة في فلسفته؛ فانتقل بعملية الشك من النظرية إلى التطبيق؟. وقد اعتمدت في هذا البحث على عدة مناهج تناسب طبيعته، وهي المنهج الفلسفي التحليلي النقدي، والمنهج التاريخي، والمنهج اللغوي، وقسمت هذه الدراسة إلى ملخص، ومقدمة ضمنتها التعريف بموضوع البحث والهدف منه والأسباب التي دفعت الباحث لبحثه ومنهج الدراسة، وأربعة مباحث هي: الأول: أثر الإسلام في تشكيل النظر العقلي عند الجاحظ. الثاني: أثر ثقافة العصر العباسي في تكوين الاتجاه العقلي عند الجاحظ. الثالث: العقل عند الجاحظ. الرابع: إشكالية الشك عند الجاحظ بين النظرية والتطبيق ثم ذكرت خاتمة البحث ونتائج الدراسة، والمصادر والمراجع مرتبة كما جاءت في المتن والهوامش.
