|a تحاول هذه الدراسة أن تكشف عن معيار نقدي قديم هو "اللياقة" كما استخدمه نقاد شعر المتنبي وشراحه، وتحقيقا لهذا المطلب فإنه لابد من التطرق إلى عدد من الشروح المشهورة التي تناولت أشعار المتنبي، وهي موضحة في متن هذا البحث، وستكون قراءة المادة المدروسة من خلال محورين اثنين هما: الأول: يناقش معيار اللياقة في ضوء السياق الخارجي لنصوص المتنبي، أي جميع نصوص اللياقة المرتبطة بالأعراف والتقاليد. الثاني: يناقش معيار اللياقة في ضوء السياق الداخلي للنصوص، أي جميع نصوص اللياقة المرتبطة بالمبدأ الجمالي. وقد تعرض البحث إلى اللياقة في النقد في القرن الثاني وما قبله وتبين أنها تميل إلى الأعراف والتقاليد، وأنه قد يوجد لدى بعض النقاد لفتة جمالية تخص الشعر نفسه؛ إلا أن هذا قليل. أما عند المتنبي فقد اتضح من خلال الشواهد التي وردت في كتب الشراح والنقاد، أنهم يميلون بمعيار اللياقة إلى المبدأ الجمالي في نقد شعر المتنبي، ولم يعتمدوا مبدأ الأعراف والتقاليد الذي كان عند أسلافهم.

|b This study attempts to uncover an old criticism criterion of " decency " as used by critics and interpreters of the poetry of Mutanabbi. To achieve this demand, it is necessary to refer to a number of famous commentaries on the poems of Mutanabbi, which are explained in the main part of this paper. The study of the considered material will be made through two themes: First: It discusses the criterion of decency in the light of the external context of the texts of Mutanabbi, that is, all the texts of decency related to customs and traditions. Second: It discusses the criterion of decency in light of the internal context of the texts, i.e. all the texts of decency associated with the aesthetic principle. The research on the decency was criticized in the second century and before, and found that it tended to the customs and traditions, and that some critics have fine gesture related to the poetry itself; yet it is very rare. Whereas, Mutanabbi is concerned, it is clear from the evidences shown in the books of interpreters & critics that they have used the aesthetic principle in the criterion of decency for criticizing the poetry of Mutanabbi and didn’t adopted the principle of customs and traditions chosen by their ancestors.
