حيث هدف البحث إلى التعرف على الوضع الاقتصادي المصري الذي أدى إلى الاستدانة من صندوق النقد، التعرف على بعض تجارب الدول السابقة مع صندوق النقد الدولي، ومدي نجاح هذه التجارب في الاقتراض من هذا الصندوق، دراسة أسباب ونتائج القرض عام ٢٠١٦ للوقوف على مدى الاستفادة منه ومدي تأثيره، هل يسهم قرض الصندوق في تحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية؟، لذلك استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي لوصف وتحليل الظروف الاقتصادية وتحليل الأثر المترتبة عليه والإيجابيات السلبيات لهذا القرض وكيفية قيام الدولة بتطبيق شروط الصندوق، فكانت من أهم النتائج فشل صندوق النقد الدولي في معالجة أزمات عديدة مثل المكسيك والأرجنتين واليونان ومصر سابقاً، والظروف الاقتصادية التي مرت بها مصر بعد ٢٠١١ كانت أشد وطئة من ظروف التي عاشتها مصر في عقد التسعينات، الشروط التي وضعها الصندوق للموافقة على اقراض مصر كانت غير مناسبة للوضع تماما فهي تؤثر بالسلب على أوضاع مصر الاقتصادية والحالة الاجتماعية للفرد المصري، ومن أهم التوصيات يجب على الحكومة المصرية وضع خطه مدروسة ومرونة للإصلاح الاقتصادي ووضع تجريه الإصلاح الاقتصادي في عقد التسعينات أمام أعينها لتتجنب المساوئ التي نتجت عنها، ووضع خطة أو استراتيجية طويله وقصيرة المدي يمكن أن يلتمسها شعبها ويشعر بالتطور ويمكن تحقيقها على أرض الواقع والبعد عن التي تتحقق في الكتب والنظريات، وبعد التعافي الاقتصاد المصري فـي السنوات القادمـة لابد من التخلي عن عملية الاقتراض لتمويل المشاريع الاستهلاكية وتوجيه الاستثمار إلى المشاريع التي تساهم في زيادة التكوين الرأسمالي.
