تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة دور الرقابة الإدارية في تحقيق الأهداف لقطاع الأعمال في القصيم والذي يمثل أحد القطاعات الأساسية على مستوى المملكة العربية السعودية، خاصة في ظل رؤية المملكة 2030 التي تسعى لرفع مساهمة منشآت القطاع الخاص في إجمالي الناتج المحلي للمملكة، ولتحقيق هذا الغرض تم الاطلاع على أهم الدراسات النظرية ذات العلاقة بالموضوع، والوقوف على بعض الدراسات السابقة التي تتشابه وتتقاطع مع موضوع الدراسة، كما تم الاستعانة بالبرنامج الإحصائي ((SPSS لاستخلاص النتائج الإحصائية اللازمة للدراسة، وقد بينت نتائج الدراسة أن هناك تطبيق وإلى حد ما لأنظمة الرقابة الإدارية، وإلى عدم ممارسة الرقابة الإدارية من خلال التقارير الإدارية الشهرية وأن العلاقات الشخصية والضغوط الاجتماعية تؤثر وبشكل سلبي في الرقابة الإدارية، كما تم ملاحظة عدم الاهتمام بالتقارير الرقابية الدورية، وعدم فاعلية وسائل الاتصال المستخدمة في الرقابة الإدارية. وكانت أبرز التوصيات تتلخص في ضرورة تفعيل دور الأنظمة الرقابية المستخدمة في قطاع الأعمال في القصيم، ومواكبة التطور التكنولوجي في مجال الاتصالات الإدارية والاستفادة منه في مجال الرقابة الإدارية، بالإضافة إلى تطوير الأساليب الرقابية المستخدمة في قطاع الأعمال، ونشر ثقافة الوعي بين العاملين لتوضيح أهمية الرقابة الإدارية من أجل تحسين مستوى الأداء وتحقيق الأهداف.
