المستخلص: Man always tends to express himself and loves beauty, and man has practiced art as a life, so children begin at a young age a kind of spontaneous activity, including a strong tendency to play, and curiosity, which arouses in the child aesthetic sense and helps him revitalize his motives towards artistic expression, he is an audience The newly perceived is eager to learn, and he must open the horizons for him, and carry him on the basis of imagination in the furnishings presented to the child interesting and likable that carries with it meaning, culture and meaning through the functions performed by popular literature, which is the cultural and other function, which preserves the heritage of the group and glorifies heroes, and the explanatory function In other words, interpretation of phenomena and the field of furnishings is a very distinguished field. Furniture is directly contacting the child, as he sees everything around him, without first knowing their names, but he begins in any case to know things, people through pictures, and expressive stories are a fertile source for obtaining designs. Multiple decorations for children's furnishings as well as aesthetically exiting the furnishings, and the results of the study are the implementation of innovative designs inspired by expressive stories, and the positive opinions of specialized professors and consumers towards the executed furnishings.

يميل الإنسان دائماً للتعبير عن ذاته ويعشق الجمال، وقد مارس الإنسان الفن كحياة، فيبدأ الأطفال في سن مبكر نوع من النشاط العفوي من بينها الميل الشديد إلى اللعب، وحب الاستطلاع، والتي تثير في الطفل الإحساس الجمالي وتساعده على تنشيط دوافعه نحو التعبير الفني، فهو جمهور حديث الإدراك، شغوف للتعلم، وعليه أن يفتح له الآفاق، ويحمله على بساط الخيال في صور مفروشات مقدمة للطفل مشوقة ومحببة تحمل معها معنى وثقافة ومدلول من خلال الوظائف التي يؤديها الأدب الشعبي وهي الوظيفة الثقافية وغيرها، والتي تحافظ على تراث الجماعة وتمجد أبطالاً، والوظيفة التفسيرية أي تفسير الظواهر ويعد مجال المفروشات مجالاً شديد التميز فالمفروشات تحتك بالطفل بشكل مباشر، فهو يرى كل ما هو حوله، دون أن يعرف أول الأمر أسمائها، لكنه يبدأ على أية حال بمعرفة الأشياء، الأشخاص عن طريق الصور، وتعد القصص التعبيرية مصدراً خصباً للحصول على تصميمات زخرفية متعددة لمفروشات الأطفال فضلاً عن إخراج المفروش بشكل جمالي، ومن نتائج الدراسة تنفيذ تصميمات مستحدثة مستوحاة من القصص التعبيرية، وإيجابية أراء الأساتذة المتخصصين والمستهلكين نحو المفروشات المنفذة.
