المستخلص: تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى القلق النفسي بسبب جائحة كورونا وسط سكان محافظة الإحساء، والكشف عن الفروق في مستوى القلق النفسي التي تعزى لبعض المتغيرات الديمغرافية (النوع، العمر، المؤهل العلمي، الهوية والمهنة). ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استعمل الباحثان المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (1511) مفحوصا، تم تطبيق استبيان القلق النفسي بسبب كورونا - من تصميم الباحثان - واستعمل الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (spss) لتحليل البيانات، وأظهرت النتائج انخفاض مستوى القلق بسبب وباء كورونا وسط سكان محافظة الإحساء ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغيرات (النوع، العمر، المؤهل العلمي، والمهنة) وعدم وجود فروق تعزي لمتغير (الهوية) وختم الباحثان دراستهما بتوصيات ومقترحات للدراسات المستقبلية.

This study aims at identifying the level of psychological anxiety due to the spread of the Corona pandemic among the population of Al-Ahsa Governorate, in order to identify difference in the levels of anxiety attributed to some demographic variables such as (gender ،age ،educational qualification ،identity and profession). To achieve this goal ،the researchers used the descriptive approach. The sample of the study consisted of (1511) subjects. A psychological anxiety questionnaire due to the spread of the Corona pandemic- designed by the researcher - was applied. And researcher used statistical package for social sciences (spss) was used in the data analysis. The results showed a decrease in the level of anxiety among Al Ahsa population with regard to the pandemic. Also, the result showed there is differences in the level of anxiety among population variables in the reason (gender, age ،educational qualification, and profession) Also, the result showed no differences in the level of anxiety among population variables in the reason (identity). The researcher concluded his study with recommendations and proposals for future studies.
