المستخلص: استهدفت الدراسة الحالية الوقوف على دور مؤسسات العمل الخيري في مواجهة جائحة كورونا بدولة الكويت، وأثر بعض المتغيرات في ذلك. واستخدم الباحثان منهج المسح الاجتماعي، وتم جمع البيانات من خلال استبانة تضمنت (36) عبارة موزعة على أربعة محاور (طريقة العمل في المؤسسات الخيرية، دورها في خدمة المجتمع، دورها في مواجهة جائحة كورونا، تقييم مؤسسات العمل الخيري) طبقت إلكترونيا على عينة غرضية تم الوصول إليها من خلال شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، وقد تألفت من (835) فردا من العاملين (منفذي الخدمات الميدانية للمجتمع) وغير العاملين (المستفيدين من الخدمات) في المؤسسات الخيرية، إضافة إلى تحليل محتوى التقارير الخاصة بوزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل التي تناولت جهود هذه المؤسسات في أثناء الجائحة. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مؤسسات العمل الخيري قد ساهمت في جمع التبرعات لدعم جهود الحكومة في مواجهة جائحة كورونا، ومساندة الأسر المحتاجة. وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول طريقة العمل في المؤسسات الخيرية تعزى لمتغير النوع، بينما لا توجد فروق حول المحاور الأخرى تعزى للنوع؛ وعدم وجود فروق حول جميع محاور الاستبانة تعزى لمتغيري الجنسية ومستوى التعليم. كما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق حول دور مؤسسات العمل الخيري في خدمة المجتمع تعزى لمتغير العمر، بينما توجد فروق حول المحاور الأخرى تعزى لمتغير العمر. وتوجد فروق حول جميع مجالات الاستبانة تعزى لمتغير جهة العمل. كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق حول طريقة العمل في المؤسسات الخيرية ودورها في خدمة المجتمع تعزى لمتغير المحافظة، بينما لا توجد فروق حول دورها في مواجهة الجائحة وتقييم مؤسسات العمل الخيري تعزى لمتغير المحافظة. وقدم أفراد عينة الدراسة بعض المقترحات لتطوير دور مؤسسات العمل الخيري لمواجهة جائحة كورونا.

The current study aimed to identify the role of charitable institutions in facing the Corona pandemic in the State of Kuwait، and the effect of some variables on that. The two researchers used the social survey، and data was collected through a questionnaire included (36) statements distributed on four axes (the method of working in charitable institutions، its role in community service، its role in facing the Corona pandemic، and the assessment of charitable institutions). These data were applied electronically to a purposive sample accessed through social media networks consisting of (835) persons who are working in (Community field service implementers) and non-working staff (The recipients of services) in charitable institutions. Besides, the two researchers analyzed the content of the reports of the Ministry of Social Affairs that dealt with the efforts of these institutions during the pandemic. The results of the study showed that charitable institutions have contributed in collecting donations to support the government's efforts in facing the Corona pandemic, and supported needy families. The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences among the responses of the study sample on the way of work in charitable institutions due to gender variable while there are no differences on other axes. And there are no differences in all axes of the questionnaire due to nationality and qualification variables. The results also indicated that there are no differences about the role of charitable institutions in society service due to age variable while there are differences about other axes. There are differences on all axes of the questionnaire due to work place variable Bsides, the results pointed out that there are differences about the way of work in charitable institutions and their role in society service due to governorate variable while there are no differences about its role in facing the pandemic and the assessment of charitable institutions. The study sample presents some suggestions to develop the role of charitable institutions to facing the Corona pandemic.
