المستخلص: Total quality management is a science required by successful administrative institutions to ensure the quality of their inputs, operations and outputs, with the participation of all workers in them. Because education and its institutions are a basic source but rather a major pillar of development, caring for highlighting the guiding principles of quality in education is very important. Islam called for quality, urged to it, and preceded all civilizations in the quest for quality. The Prophet’s Sunnah and the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, as leader of the greatest educational school of an extended influence in time and space, was the guideline for establishing this science. So this research was conducted to study briefly the quality, its history, its definitions in the modern era and in the Islamic law term, and its comprehensive management, and also to highlight the most important guiding principles of total quality management in educational institutions in the light of the Prophet’s Sunnah through studying the approach that the teacher, the Prophet Mohammed, may God bless him and grant him peace, pursued in educating the Companions and advancing the Prophetic community scientifically, morally and socially. The most important results of the research are the following: In Islam, quality is distinguished by its reliance on an important guiding principle in which all the contemporary fundamentals and guiding principles of quality are devoid of it, which is sincerity in work. Through the research, the need emerged to the necessity of directing educational institutions to adopt the science of total quality management with an Islamic perspective as a guideline to master the work.

إن إدارة الجودة الشاملة علم تتطلبه المؤسسات الإدارية الناجحة. لضمان جودة مدخلاتها، ومخرجاتها وعملياتها، بمشاركة جميع العاملين فيها. ولأن التعليم ومؤسساته رافد أساس بل ركيزة كبري للتنمية فالاعتناء بإبراز مقومات الجودة فيه أمر بالغ الأهمية، وقد نادي الإسلام بالجودة وحث عليها، وسبق جميع الحضارات في طلبها، وكانت السنة النبوية وهديه صلى الله عليه وسلم موجها لتأصيل هذا العلم كقائد لأعظم مدرسة تربوية ممتدة الأثر مكانا وزمانا. فجاء هذا البحث ليدرس بشكل موجز الجودة، تاريخها، وتعريفاتها في العصر الحديث، وفي المصطلح الشرعي، وإدارتها الشاملة، وإبراز أهم مقومات إدارة الجودة الشاملة في مؤسسات التعليم في ضوء السنة النبوية، من خلال دراسة المنهج الذي انتهجه المعلم الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم في تربيته للصحابة ونهضته بالمجتمع النبوي علميا وأخلاقيا واجتماعيا. وخلص البحث إلى نتائج أهمها: تميز الجودة في الإسلام بارتكازها على مقوم مهم تخلو منه جميع مبادئ الجودة المعاصرة ومقوماتها؛ ألا وهو الإخلاص في العمل. وظهرت الحاجة من خلال البحث لضرورة توجيه المؤسسات التعليمية لتبني علم إدارة الجودة الشاملة بنظرة شرعية باعتباره موجها لإتقان العمل.
