المستخلص: لقد أثار الأدباء الجزائريون المعبرون باللغة الفرنسية دائما آلام الاستعمار في أعمالهم الروائية. أن إعادة كتابة التاريخ بقلم أدبي قد أظهرت إرادتهم الثابتة في إزالة الغموض عن بعض الحقائق. تعتبر الرواية الوعاء الوحيد الذي يوفق بين الواقع والخيال ويمحو الحدود بين الرواية الخيالية والرواية التاريخية. أن الحاجة إلى رفع الحجاب عن الأحداث الماضية قد تجلت بوضوح في الكتابة التي اعتمدها هؤلاء الكتاب الذين يتعهدون بتطهير الماضي من أجل كسر الكليشيهات التي يمكن أن تشوه الواقع التاريخي. في المعنى الدقيق للمصطلح، فإن الأدب الجزائري المعاصر متميز ومنفرد لأنه يهدف إلى تدمير بعض المحرمات أو التابوهات المرتبطة بالماضي للاستعماري. يغرق الكاتب في هذا البحث عن الحقيقة من خلال السعي لمعالجة بعناية ما يسهى "العدمية"، وهذا يعني رفض أي شكل من أشكال القيد أو الخضوع.

The Algerian writers of French expression have always evoked the pangs of colonization in their novelistic works. The rewriting of History using a literary pen shows the writer’s will to demystify reality and dispel the ambiguity of certain facts. The novel is a receptacle, which combines the reality with imagination and blurs the boundaries between the narrative and the historical fiction. The need to lift the veil on past events is clearly stated in the writing that is adopted by these writers who pledge to clear the past in order to break the clichés that can distort the historical reality. Through the accurate sense of the term, the contemporary Algerian literature is atypical and iconoclastic because it aims to destroy certain taboos, which are linked to the colonial past. The writer plunges into the search for truth by seeking carefully to address what is called "nihilism", that is to say the rejection of any form of constraint or subjection.

Les écrivains algériens d’expression française ont toujours évoqué les affres de la colonisation dans leurs oeuvres romanesques. La réécriture de l’Histoire avec une plume littéraire manifeste leur volonté ferme de démythifier la réalité et de dissiper l’ambiguïté sur certains faits. Le roman se présente alors comme le seul réceptacle qui permet de concilier le réel et l’imaginaire et de brouiller les frontières entre le récit fictif et le récit historique. La nécessité de lever le voile sur les faits passés s’énonce clairement dans l’écriture adoptée par ces écrivains qui s’engagent à défricher le passé en vue de briser les clichés qui peuvent déformer la réalité historique. Au sens étroit du terme, la littérature algérienne contemporaine se veut atypique et iconoclaste du fait qu’elle vise à détruire certains tabous liés au passé colonial. L’écrivain s’enfonce dans cette quête de vérité en cherchant à aborder avec minutie ce qu’il convient d’appeler « le nihilisme », c’est-à-dire le rejet de toute forme de contrainte ou de sujétion.
