تناول البحث نظام التخطيط موارد المشروع من حيث أهميته بالنسبة لإدارة المنشأة، حيث يسهل على المنشآت أداء مهامها اليومية واتخاذ قراراتها الإدارية المهمة، كما يمكن الاعتماد عليه لحل مشكلاتها. حيث تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في أن استخدام النظم التقليدية في إدارة الأنشطة ومعالجة المعاملات المختلفة غير كافي لضمان تحسين جودة المخرجات ونمو المنظمات وتجاوبها مع المتغيرات في البيئة التنافسية الحالية. تكمن أهمية الدراسة في أن هذا النظام يعتبر الأكثر تعبيراً عن المؤسسية التي تعتمد عليها منظمات الأعمال في معالجة مختلف عملياتها. هدف البحث لتحقيق عدة أهداف، أهمها التعرف على إمكانية نظام تخطيط موارد المشروع في تحسين وتطوير العمليات التشغيلية وكفاءة العمليات والمزايا التنافسية. لتحقيق أهداف البحث تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي: من خلال أسلوب دراسة الحالة لمعرفة أثر تطبيق نظام تخطيط موارد المشروع ودوره في رفع كفاءة العمليات والمزايا التنافسية التي تعود على المنشآت. توصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج أهمها، يعتبر نظام تخطيط موارد المشروع من النظم الحديثة التي تساعد إدارة المنشأة في تحديد أولوياتها، وكذلك أن استخدام نظام تخطيط موارد المشروع يؤدي إلى رفع كفاءة وفاعلية درجة التنافسية في المنشآت. كما قدم البحث عدة توصيات منها، أن تطبيق نظام تخطيط موارد المشروع يحتاج المعرفة التامة بكافة جوانبه لذا على المنشآت التأكد من أن البيئة الداخلية للمنشأة مناسبة لتطبيقه. إن تحديد أهداف وغايات واضحة من تطبيق نظام تخطيط موارد المشروع مطلب مهم جداً لنجاحه.
The role of the Project Resource Planning System in raising the efficiency of operations and the competitive advantages of business enterprises: a field study. The research dealt with the Project Resource Planning System (PRPS) in terms of its importance to the management of the enterprise, where it is easy for enterprises to perform their daily tasks and to take important administrative decisions; this PRPS can as well as be reliable in solving entrepreneurial problems. The study’s problem was to investigate the insufficiency of using the traditional systems in managing activities and processing the various transactions with regard insurance of quality output improvement organizational growth and organizational adaptation to the changes in the current competitive environment. The importance of the study is that this system is the best example that expresses the institutionalism on which business organizations rely on when addressing their various operations. The study aimed to achieve several objectives, of research, the most important of which is to identify the possibility of the PRPS to improve and develop the operational processes, assess the impact of applying the project resource planning system. To achieve these objectives a descriptive analytical method was used; it is a case study to assess the impact of applying the project resource planning system and its role in raising the efficiency of operations and competitive advantages of enterprises. Findings revealed several results the most important of which is that the PRPS is considered one of the modern systems that help the management of the establishment to identify its priorities; in addition،application competitive degree of this PRPS leads to an increase in the efficiency and effectiveness of the different operations in the establishments. Eventually the study recommended that the implementation of the PRPS requires full knowledge of all its aspects; therefore enterprises are required to ensure a compatible internal environment of their facilities for its application. Moreover setting clear goals and objectives for implementing the PRPS is a very important requirement for its success.
