المستخلص: يتناول البحث عنصراً وظيفياً في بناء النادرة التي اتخذها الجاحظ وسيلة لمعالجة ظاهرة البخل في أبعادها النفسية والاجتماعية، ألا وهو عنصر الاستهلال، وقد عالجناه وفق مقترب تداولي يشتغل على محورين أولهما الكشف عن جملة الوسائط والتقنيات الخطابية الإقناعية في صياغة الاستهلال، وثانيهما بيان كيفيات الإذعان التي هي حصيلة تلك الوسائط والتقنيات فيه، قاصدين تحقيق أهداف أوضحها بيان أهمية الاستهلال الهيكلية والوظيفية، ودوره في بناء الحجة لتلقي مضمون القضايا، وأثره في تماسك الخطاب من خلال بيان وجوه ارتباطاته بما يليه من النص المركزي. وقد انتهينا إلى نتائج أهمها التأكيد على محورية الاستهلال عند الجاحظ في بناء نوادره، وتنويعه لأشكاله التي تسهم كلها في بناء الحجة؛ بهدف إثارة المتلقي واستقطابه لصالح القضايا المعروضة.

The research deals with the element of initiation and its functional roles in building the Anecdoteas a traditional narrative pattern dealing with the phenomenon of miserliness in its psychological and social dimensions. The element of initiation has been manipulated in two dimensions. The first one aims to disclose the ways of persuasive and rhetorical media and techniques in editing initiation. The second one aims to explain the modalities of acquiescence that is the outcome of these media and techniques, intending to explain the structural and functional importance of initiation, its role in building the argument to receive the content of the issues, and its effect on the coherence of the discourse by explaining the faces of its connections with the following from the central text. To conclude with the following important results; emphasizing on the centrality of initiation for Al-Jahezin formulating his anecdotes, and diversification of its types that contribute to building the argument, with the aim of raising the recipient and attracting him in favor of the presented issues.
