In this article, we are moving through the different social roles performed by Hayek women in the novel of Charif Majdalani, Villa des femmes. In the scope of decrypting the polyvalent symbolism of the performed roles, these women moved from the absolute obedience from men, husband or brother, to the irreversible struggle against men, the militiaman, with the withdrawn benefits and the undergoing consequences. Therefore, they deserve a particular attention. They are like archetypes related to the collective imaginary defining the woman as a procreator, capable to extend the family line, and as a source of pleasure, the women of our corpus are progressing to put on the male uniform and will play a new role in the beginning of the civil war. Dans cet article, nous parcourrons les différents rôles sociaux assumés par les femmes Hayek tout au long du roman de Charif Majdalani, Villa des femmes. Dans l’optique d’un décryptage du symbolisme polyvalent des rôles qu’elles assument, ces femmes passent de l’obéissance aveugle à l’homme, mari ou frère, à la lutte irréversible contre l’homme, le milicien, avec les bénéfices qu’elles en retirent et les conséquences qu’elles en subissent. De ce fait, elles méritent une attention particulière. Réduites, au départ, à des archétypes propres à l’imaginaire collectif qui définit la femme comme procréatrice, capable de prolonger la lignée familiale, et comme source de plaisir, les femmes de notre corpus évoluent pour endosser le costume du masculin et jouer un nouveau rôle au début de la guerre civile |
