520 |a يفتقر الطلاب بشدة للكلمات. والدليل على ذلك، ويتفق الباحثون والممارسون على هذا. وتظهر الكثير من الكلمات المقاربة في إنتاجهم الشفوي أو المكتوب. يشكل النقص وعدم الدقة في الكلمات عقبة حقيقية أمام الوصول إلى اللغة، وبالأخص اللغة الأجنبية. كلاهما يشكلان، على المدى القصير، عنصرا رادعا في تعلم هذه اللغة، وعلى المدى الطويل، بدايات فشل مبرمج. بهدف مساعد الطلاب حاولنا تصميم أنشطة معجمية بناء على لغتهم الأم، في هذه الحالة العربية الدارجة. 
520 |b Students are sorely lacking in words. Proof of this is, researchers and practitioners agree, this multiplication ofall-purpose words in their oral or written productions. Shortage and imprecision of words constitute a real obstacle to access to the language and, a fortiori a foreign language. They both constitute, in the short term, a dissuasive element in the learning of this language and, in the long term, the beginnings of a programmed failure. It was with the aim of helping the students that we tried to design lexical activities based on their mother tongue, in this case Arabic dialect. 
520 |d Les élèves manquent cruellement de mots. Preuve en est, s’accordent à dire chercheurs comme praticiens, cette multiplication de mots passe-partout dans leurs productions orales ou écrites. Pénurie et imprécision des mots constituent une réelle entrave à l’accès à la langue et, a fortiori une langue étrangère. Elles constituent l’une comme l’autre, à court terme, un élément dissuasif dans l’apprentissage de cette langue et, à long terme, les prémices d’un échec programmé. C’est dans l’objectif de venir en aide aux élèves que nous nous sommes efforcé de concevoir des activités lexicales en prenant appui sur leur langue maternelle, en l’occurrence l’arabe dialectal.
