المستخلص: To determine the financial health and soundness of the institution, the rating system is widely used. The central banks of most countries are adopting the rating system in order to keep a permanent watch on the good health of the banks and to ensure financial stability. In this context this paper try to propose a financial rating system adapted to the Algerian banks reality.

Le système de notation des banques à l’échelle mondiale a connu un développement important et une diffusion très large par les autorités de régulation ainsi que les agences de notation. Les banques centrales de la plupart des pays adoptent le système de rating afin de garder une surveillance permanente sur la bonne santé des banques et d’assurer la stabilité financière. C’est dans cette optique que cet article tente de proposer un système de notation financière des banques adapté à l’environnement Algérien.
