المستخلص: قيل المصطلحات مفاتيح العلوم، وقيل: إن فهم المصطلحات نصف العلم، إذ لا بد لكل علم من العلوم من وضع مصطلحات تخصه، ينفرد بها عن غيره من العلوم وفق منهج واضح يفسرها ويشرح ألفاظها، وللحدود النحوية أثر بارز في الدرس النحوي، فهي توضح المصطلحات النحوية وتصونها من الاختلاط بغيرها والالتباس بها عبر استقصائها للمحدود وتحديده بدقة. وثمة أربع مفردات يظن كثير من الدارسين أنها تقع في باب الترادف، وهي المفهوم والمصطلح والحد والتعريف، بيد أن لكل واحدة منها معني خاصًا بها، وبعض هذه المعاني يقترب من بعضها كالحد والتعريف علي الرغم من أن التعريف أعم من الحد، فكل حد تعريف وليس كل تعريف حدًا، والمفهوم والمصطلح متقاربان ومتباينان في آن معًا، فالمفهوم يركز علي الصورة الذهنية، أما المصطلح فإنه يركز علي الدلالة اللفظية للمفهوم، كما أن المفهوم أسبق من المصطلح، فكل مفهوم مصطلح وليس العكس، فالمفهوم هو روح المصطلح ومضمونه، والمصطلح هو عنوانه المتفق عليه، أما المفهوم والتعريف، فهناك اختلاف جوهري بينهما، فالمفهوم هو تلك الفكرة التي تتكون في الذهن، والتي يتفق علي تسميتها بكلمة المصطلح، ويأتي التعريف لشرح هذا المصطلح ويتوجب المعرفة به العلم بشيء آخر.

There are four vocabulary that many learners think are located in the door of synonymy: the concept, the term, the limit and the definition, but each of them has its own meaning, and some of these meanings come close to each other as the limit and the definition although the definition is more general than the limit, so each term is defined and not Each definition is a term, and the concept and the term are closely related and different at the same time. The concept focuses on the mental image, while the term focuses on the verbal significance of the concept, just as the concept is earlier than the term, each concept is a term and not the opposite, the concept is the spirit of the term and its content, and the term is its agreed title Accordingly, the concept and the definition, it is As a fundamental difference between them, it is the conception of that idea, which consists in the mind, and agreed to call the word of the term, comes to explain the definition of this term and have knowledge of science with something else.
