المستخلص: The woman played an active role in the life of her husband, and she was supportive of him with her love and devotion to him. As the personality of Tecmessa in the play "Ajax" by both the Greek theater poet Sophocles - the fifth century BC - and the Italian play wright Foscolo - the beginning of the nineteenth century AD-. Where they clarify many moral values for women in two different eras, Such as first: The love affection that made her sympathize with others to help her husband, And grieved with emotion over her husband's crises and his destiny. Second: The wife's respect for her husband and the display of his originality and nobility, In order to improve his bad psychological state despite his cruelty with her, Third: The loyalty and sincerity of her husband, which made her share his suffering, And inherit him in his ordeal and after his death. Tecmessa, The hero of moral values in the two plays, Shrunk her role, But she was more influential in the drama, Even the scenes of her silence had a great impact. I will clarify the features of affect and influence between the two plays through the Tecmessa personality as an example of the moral features that the wife followed toward her husband, I based on evidence from the theatrical verses and I used for the analytical and comparative approaches.
