The study at hand presents a proposal for the application of an academic accelerating program. It is a program of grade skipping in Egyptian pre university general education, in light of the experiences of Jordan, the United States, and Germany in this field and according to the conditions and the needs of Egyptian society. This study comes in conjunction with the efforts made by the Egyptian Ministry of Education to reach the best ways caring for academic superiors, in response to the recommendations of many educational conferences and seminars in recent years, which call for the fulfillment of superiors’ need and the development of other methods more efficiently. The study provides a brief reading of Arab and international experiences in the field of academic superior programs’ interest, which may assist educational policy planners to benefit from the experiences pf others guiding them in developing programs for academic superior care especially academic acceleration in Egypt. When presenting world experiences, the study focuses on several factors that form main aspects of academic acceleration, as follows: the target groups of acceleration programs, the bodies responsible for its implementation and supervision, the criteria for selecting students, and the mechanisms for implementing the program. The study uses a comparative approach to analyze the academic acceleration in the countries subject to comparison. The comparative analytical study results in a framework with specific steps for the application of the academic accelerating system in Egypt. This is done in order to achieve the principal of equal educational opportunities, taking into account the individual differences that practically underlie the educational policies in Egypt. This is done by providing a new educational alternative to care for students who are academically outstanding in order to meet their educational needs which are compatible with their abilities according to the speed of their learning. In addition to keeping pace with global trends in this regard. The proposed perception has been divided into two factors. The first factor focuses on the conceptual framework necessary for the success of acceleration, and of the programs. It is a framework that comes in line with the general objectives of Egyptian education. The second factor presents an applied framework with specific steps to ensure the success of the acceleration. It includes the principles of student nomination for the program, mechanisms of selection, followup, supervision and support for the accelerated student, and evaluation of the effects of the implementation of the program. The study also clarifies the means to overcome some obstacles that may hinder the application of academic acceleration, whether within or outside the school, in addition to general conditions for the success of the proposed vision.
