المستخلص: The books of Moroccan and Andalusian travelers and geographers are among the important sources, as we find many of them dealt with the al-Maghrib al-Awsaṭ (The Middle West) in the Middle Ages, by describing its political, economic, social, and cultural conditions, which gives the history researcher a complete picture of al-Maghrib al-Awsaṭ (The Middle West). We may find their authors depend on drawing information and facts from the ground reality and the events that they lived through their travels, so how did these Moroccan and Andalusian travelers and geographers describe the economic conditions of the al-Maghrib al-Awsaṭ (The Middle West) through their writings?

تعتبر كتب الرحالة والجغرافيين المغاربة والأندلسيين من المصادر الهامة، إذ نجد الكثير منها تناولت المغرب الأوسط في العصر الوسيط، من خلال وصفها لأحواله السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، مما يعطي للباحث في التاريخ صورة مكتملة عن المغرب الأوسط، وقد نجد أصحابها يعتمدون على استقاء المعلومات والحقائق من الواقع الحي والأحداث التي عايشوها من خلال رحلاتهم، فكيف وصف هؤلاء الرحالة والجغرافيين المغاربة والأندلسيين الأحوال الاقتصادية للمغرب الأوسط من خلال كتاباتهم؟

Les ouvrages des voyageurs et géographes maghrébins et andalous sont considérés parmi les sources les plus importantes.
La plupart d'entre eux se penche sur l'étude du Maghreb centrale.
Leurs descriptions, du côté politique, économique, social et culturel donnent au chercheur d'histoire une image complète sur le Maghreb centrale.
Les voyageurs dans leur quête au savoir s'appuient sur des donnés véridiques et des réalités vécus ainsi que des événements qu'ils ont vécu pendant leurs voyages.
