المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على التحديات التي تحد من مساهمة كليات الاقتصاد بالمؤسسات الأكاديمية الليبية في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة من خلال وظائفها التالية: (توفير مخرجات تتناسب مع متطلبات سوق العمل، البحث العلمي، خدمة المجتمع) ووضع مجموعة من الآليات لمواجهة هذه التحديات، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهجين الوصفي والتحليلي، واستخدم الباحثون أسلوب قائمة الاستبيان لجمع آراء عينة الدراسة المتمثلة في المسؤولين بالجامعات الليبية التالية: (جامعة المرقب، الجامعة الأسمرية، جامعة مصراته، وجامعة الزيتونة)، وتوصلت الدراسة لعدت نتائج من أهمها: تواجه كليات الاقتصاد بالمؤسسات الأكاديمية الليبية مجموعة من التحديات تحد من مساهمتها في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة وهي تحديات على مستوى توفير مخرجات تتناسب مع متطلبات سوق العمل وتمثلت في (ضعف التعاون بين الأكاديميين والمهنيين لتحديد احتياجات سوق العمل، وعدم وجود البرامج العلمية المدروسة للتدريب العملي للطلاب، وربطهم بمواقع العمل بالوحدات الاقتصادية)، أما أهم التحديات على مستوى البحث العلمي فتمثلت في (غياب الحوافز التشجيعية المادية والمعنوية للبحوث المتميزة في كليات الاقتصاد، وغياب المكتبات العلمية سواء كانت إلكترونية أو ورقية وعدم تحديثها بالمراجع)، في حين تمثلت أهم التحديات على مستوى خدمة المجتمع في (ضعف اهتمام الوحدات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية بالاستفادة من نتائج البحوث العلمية وتوصياتها، وعدم وجود خطط تنموية واضحة من قبل جهات الاختصاص بالدولة)، ولمواجهة التحديات السابقة تم اقتراح مجموعة من الآليات من أهمها: على مستوى توفير مخرجات تتناسب مع متطلبات سوق العمل وتمثلت في (تخصيص الدعم المالي المناسب لتوفير كافة الإمكانيات والسبل والوسائل التعليمية الحديثة اللازمة للمؤسسات التعليمية، وتضمين الخطة الدراسية بكليات الاقتصاد فترة تدريب عملي للطلاب بالوحدات الاقتصادية قبل تخرجهم)، أما على مستوى البحث العلمي فمثلت أهم الآليات المقترحة في (توفير الكتب والدوريات والمراجع العلمية الحديثة، وتوفير قاعدة بيانات للأبحاث العلمية المنجزة على مستوى الجامعة وربطها مع قواعد البيانات الدولية)، في حين تمثلت أهم الآليات المقترحة على مستوى خدمة المجتمع في (توطيد العلاقة بين المجتمع المحلي والجامعة من خلال عقد الندوات والمؤتمرات حول مشاكل المجتمع، والعمل على إنشاء مراكز استشارية داخل الجامعات بهدف تقديم خدمات للمجتمع)، وأوصى الباحثون بعدة توصيات منها: العمل على الاستفادة من نتائج الدراسة بما يعزز وظائف المؤسسات الأكاديمية للمساهمة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وعلى الجهات الحكومية الاستفادة من خبرات المؤسسات الأكاديمية في وضع حلول للمشاكل العملية.

This study aimed to identify the challenges that limit the contribution of economics colleges in the Libyan academic institutions to achieve sustainable development through the following functions:(Providing outputs that suit the requirements of the labor market, scientific research, and community service), And setting up a set of mechanisms to address these challenges, And the study depended on quantitative data collection, The researchers used the questionnaire list method to collect the opinions of the study sample represented by the following Libyan university officials: (Al-Marqab University, Al-Asmaria University, Misurata University, and Al-Zaytoonah University), The study reached the following results: The Faculties of Economics of the Libyan academic institutions face a set of challenges that limit their contribution to achieving sustainable development and These challenges are, (Weak cooperation between academics and professionals to define the needs of the labor market, And the lack of scientific programs studied for practical training for students, And linking them to work sites with economic units), and the most important challenges at the level of scientific research are: (The absence of material and moral incentives for distinguished research in the faculties of economics, The absence of scientific libraries, whether electronic or paper, and not updating them with references), While the most important challenges at the level of community service (The lack of interest of the economic and social units in benefiting from the results of scientific research and its recommendations, And the lack of clear development plans by the state’s competent authorities), And to meet the previous challenges, a set of mechanisms have been proposed, the most important of which are: On the level of providing outputs that are commensurate with the requirements of the labor market (Allocating appropriate financial support to provide all capabilities, means and modern educational means necessary for educational institutions, The study plan of the faculties of economics includes a practical training period for students in economic units before they graduate), As for the level of scientific research, the most important mechanisms proposed in were represented (Providing books, periodicals and modern scientific references, Providing a database of scientific research completed at the university level and linking it with international databases), While the most important mechanisms proposed at the level of community service were: (Consolidating the relationship between the local community and the university by holding seminars and conferences on community problems, And work to establish advisory centers within universities in order to provide services to society), The researchers recommended several recommendations, including: Work to take advantage of the results of the study to enhance the functions of academic institutions to contribute to achieving sustainable development, Government agencies should take advantage of the experiences of academic institutions to develop solutions to practical problems.
