520 |b English is the world‟s first language as Art is an international language as well. This paper discusses the theory and a possible practice of using art in the teaching of English as a foreign language from the Multicultural Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) perspective. A discussion of the various ways of integrating Art in EFL course design, teaching and assessment is presented in the light of CLIL approach. The research discusses using CLIL in the teaching of English as a foreign language. Tools and materials of the research included: (1) Content analysis questionnaire (2) Needs assessment questionnaire (3) CLIL art-oriented questionnaire (4) CLIL-based module (5) CLIL-based test (6) Satisfaction scale. In a quasi-experimental one-group design (N.25), an Art-oriented CLIL module was administered over the participants following a pre and post testing procedure. The research tested both participants' English language achievement as well as their satisfaction with the art-oriented courses. Results of administering the instruments and the module showed a development in the participants' language achievement (mainly grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing) as well as a positive development in their satisfaction with the module. Recommendations of the research calls for Art integration in language courses and designing CLIL based multicultural courses for better language practice.
