يعد برنارد لويس Bernard Lewis في مقدمة المستشرقين الذين يسعون في تشويه عقيدة المسلمين من خلال مؤلفاته، ويتناول هذا البحث كتابه الحشاشون، وما بث فيه من أباطيل، والرد على أبرزها، فجاء البحث محاولا الكشف عن تدليس أمثال هؤلاء المستشرقين، والتصدي لهم ولأفكارهم. ويتكون البحث من مقدمة، وتمهيد، ومبحثين، وخاتمة. أما المقدمة ففيها توطئة للموضوع مع أسباب اختياره وأهميته، وأهدافه، والدراسات السابقة. وتمهيد: وفيه التعريف ببرنارد لويس وكتابه الحشاشين. وكان المبحث الأول عن برنارد لويس وتاريخ الإسماعيلية. وفيه ثلاثة مطالب: المطلب الأول: نبذة عن برنارد لويس ومدرسته الفكرية. المطلب الثاني: موقف الاستشراق من الفرق الإسلامية. المطلب الثالث: تاريخ الإسماعيلية من وجهة نظر برنارد لويس. وجاء المبحث الثاني: موقف برنارد لويس من فرقة الحشاشين والرد عليه. وفيه ثلاثة مطالب: المطلب الأول: دور الحشاشين في الفكر الإسلامي من وجهة نظر برنارد لويس. المطلب الثاني: نقض أفكار برنارد لويس حول الحشاشين. المطلب الثالث: موقف الإسلام من فرقة الحشاشين. والخاتمة وتشتمل على أهم النتائج. وتبرز أهمية البحث في أن برنارد لويس في مقدمة المستشرقين الذين يستغلون جهل الناس بالتاريخ، ومن ذلك الجهل بالفرق الباطنية وخاصة الحشاشين. لذلك كان الواجب بيان وكشف تدليس أمثال هؤلاء، والتصدي لهم ولأفكارهم ونشر الوعي بين الناس بمخاطر دراسات المستشرقين عن الإسلام. والهدف من البحث بيان موقف المستشرقين من الفرق الإسلامية، وموقف برنارد لويس من فرقة الحشاشين من خلال كتابه والرد عليه.
Bernard Lewis ranks in the forefront orientalists attempting to defame Muslim’s Creed through his writings. This research is an attempt to reveal misstatements of such orientalists and confront their ideas. It deals with his book The Assassins, its implications and its response to the most prominent ones. This research consists of an introduction, preface, two topics and a conclusion: The Introduction examines a prelusion of the subject, reasons of selection and its importance, objectives and previous studies. The Preface produces a brief biography of Bernard Lewis and his book entitled “Hashashiyan-Assassins”. The first topic talks about Bernard Lewis and the history of Isma'ilism. It has three demands: • The first demand: a profile of Bernard Lewis and his school of thought. • The second demand: the orientalist attitude on Islamic groups. • The third demand: Ismaili history from the viewpoint of Bernard Lewis. The second topic talks about the position of Bernard Lewis on “Hashashiyan-Assassins” Sect, and reply to him. It has three demands: • The first demand: the role of assassins in Islamic thought from the viewpoint of Bernard Lewis. • The second demand: refute Bernard Lewis' ideas about assassins. • The third demand: Islam's attitude on the Assassin Squad. - The conclusion included the most significant results. The importance of this research is that Bernard Lewis ranks in the forefront orientalists that exploit people ignorant of history, including ignorance of Batiniyya groups, especially the Assassins, so it was necessary to reveal the fraud of such people, to confront them and their ideas, and to spread awareness among people about the dangers of Orientalist studies on Islam. The objective of this research is to reveal the attitude of Orientalists from Islamic groups and the position of Bernard Lewis on “Hashashiyan-Assassins” Sect through his book, and reply to him.
