|b Since the year 1984, Ilizi State has adopted a permanent development program, stemming from a long-term development policy, mainly based on the main goal of stabilizing the local population on the one hand and the reconstruction of this state of strategic importance on the other hand, including its border areas. In order to materialize these goals, it was necessary, then, to bring in human and financial resources in the sense of carrying out annual and multi-year development projects, with a view to meeting, as quickly as possible, the social and economic needs of the Elysian population as well as the residents coming to the state as part of their contributions to the development of the region. The economic development mechanisms of this state were based on the development of important sectors such as agriculture, irrigation, economic and administrative base facilities, housing, education and training, and social and cultural base facilities.

|a منذ سنة 1984، تبنت ولاية إيليزي برنـامجا تنمويـا دائمـا، منبثقا عن سياسة تنموية طويلة المدى، مرتكزة أساسا على هدف رئيسي يتمثل في تثبيت السكـان المحليين من جهة وتعمير هذه الولاية ذات الأهمية الاستراتيجية من جهـة أخرى بما في ذلك المنـاطق الحدودية لهـا. ومن أجل تجسيد هذه الأهداف كان من الضروري إذن، جلب الموارد البشرية والمالية بمعنى إنجاز مشـاريع تنموية سنوية ومتعددة السنوات، وذلك بهدف تلبية، وفي أسرع مـا يمكن، الحاجيات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية لسكـان إيليزي وكـذا السكـان القادمون إلى الولاية في إطار مساهماتهم في تنميـة المنطقـة. ارتكزت آليات التنمية الاقتصادية لهذه الولاية على تطوير القطاعات المهمة كالفلاحـة، الـري، المنشـآت القاعدية الاقتصادية والإدارية، السكن، التربية والتكوين والمنشآت القاعدية الاجتماعية والثقافية.
