المستخلص: Distance education means the use of certain technical means that bring this distance closer and eliminate its effects. Education through correspondence, video, e-learning, or through open universities are all considered means of distance learning. Distance education is a mass education based on a philosophy that affirms the right of individuals to have access to educational opportunities, in the sense that it is an education open to all groups, does not adhere to a specific time or class of learners, nor is limited to a certain level or type of education. It is appropriate to the nature of the needs of society and its members and their ambitions and the development of their careers. Research on the distance education system has shown that it is equivalent to or outweighs the impact and effectiveness of the traditional education system when these techniques are used efficiently. Distance education is an alternative to traditional education due to population inflation and the inability of universities to accommodate the huge number of students in their seats, in addition to the distance between the learner and the educational institution often.
The research contained two parts:
First: the theoretical framework and contained (the concept of learning, the definition of computer-aided learning, educational computer, learning sources in education technology, e-learning, discussion of e-learning method and its effectiveness, importance of computer usage in education, benefits of computer in education).
Second: the practical framework: In this part, the researcher presented, explained, and analyzed the proposed e-application for tasting Arabic music.
The research was concluded with findings, recommendations, research references, and a summary of the research.

يعني التعليم عن بُعد استخدام وسائل تقنية معينة تقرب هذه المسافة وتلغي الآثار المترتبة عليها، فالتعليم بالمراسلة أو باستخدام الفيديو أو التعليم الإلكتروني أو عن طريق الجامعات المفتوحة كلها تعتبر وسائل للتعلم عن بعد، والتعليم عن بُعد هو تعليم جماهيري يقوم على فلسفة تؤكد حق الأفراد في الوصول إلى الفرص التعليمية المتاحة، بمعنى أنه تعليم مفتوح لجميع الفئات، لا يتقيد بوقت ولا بفئة معينة من المتعلمين، ولا يقتصر على مستوى أو نوع معين من التعليم، فهو يتناسب وطبيعة حاجات المجتمع وأفراده وطموحاتهم وتطوير مهنهم، ولقد أثبت البحوث التي أجريت على نظام التعليم عن بعد أنه يوازي أو يفوق في التأثير والفاعلية نظام التعليم التقليدي وذلك عندما تستخدم هذه التقنيات بكفاءة، ويأتي التعليم عن بعد بديلا عن التعليم التقليدي نظراً للتضخم السكاني وعجز الجامعات عن استيعاب الكم الهائل من الطلاب في مقاعدها، إضافة إلى بعد المسافة بين المتعلم والمؤسسة التربوية أحيانا كثيرة.
واحتوى البحث على جزئين:
أولا: الإطار النظري: واحتوى على: (مفهوم التعلم، تعريف التعلم بمساعدة الكمبيوتر، الكمبيوتر التعليمي، مصادر التعلم في تكنولوجيا التعليم، التعليم الإلكتروني، مناقشة طريقة التعليم الإلكتروني ومدى فاعليتها، أهمية استخدام الكمبيوتر في التعليم، فوائد الكمبيوتر في التعليم).
ثانيا: الإطار العملي: في هذا الجزء عرض وشرح وحلل الباحث التطبيق الإلكتروني المقترح لتذوق الموسيقى العربية.
ثم اختتم البحث بالنتائج والتوصيات ومراجع البحث وملخص البحث.
