المستخلص: إن البحث الموسوم (انعكاس تقنية (الدايود) الباعث للضوء (LED) على تصميم وحدات الإضاءة الخارجية) هو عبارة عن دراسة تحليلية لوحدات الإنارة الخارجية للحدائق والتي اعتمدت في عملها على تقنية (الدايود) الباعث للضوء للوصول إلى مدى التأثير والتغير الحاصل فيها على وفق هذه التقنية، فكانت مشكلة البحث فيه هي (ماهية التأثر الشكلي والوظيفي لوحدات الإضاءة الخارجية على وفق تقنية الدايود الباعث للضوء) والتي حددت في المبحث الأول منه ومنها جاءت أهداف البحث المتمثلة بـ (بيان الانعكاس الحاصل من تحول تقنية الإضاءة من المصابيح التقليدية إلى تقنية الدايود الباعث للضوء (LED) على كل من الشكل التصميم وطبيعة الأداء الوظيفي لوحدات الإنارة الخارجية) أي أن البحث كرس لغرض الإجابة على تساؤل يخص التحول الشكلي والوظيفي لوحدات الإضاءة الخارجية العاملة بمبدأ الدايود الباعث للضوء من خلال تبيان التغيير في كل من الشكل والوظيفة لتلك الوحدات، وقد حدد البحث بدراسة تلك الوحدات من نماذج مختارة لها لبيان الاختلاف الحاصل. وللوصول لذلك أسس المبحث الثاني القاعدة النظرية للبحث إذ جمعت الأدبيات الخاصة بكل من وحدات الإضاءة التقليدية بأنواعها المختلفة وما يخص تقنية (الدايود) الباعث للضوء وأما من حيث المبدأ بعمله وميزاته، فضلا عن ذلك فقد تناول المبحث موضوع يخص تحقق الوظيفة بهيئة وحدات الإضاءة نوقش فيه العلاقة ما بين الوظيفة وبناء هيئة المنتجات الصناعية من وحدات الإضاءة الخارجية للوقوف على مدى تأثير وتأثر كل منها على وفق تلك العلاقة. وفي المبحث الرابع حددت إجراءات البحث وفيه حدد المنهج الوصفي كأساس للوصول للنتائج من خلال دراسة عينات منتقاة بشكل قصدي من نماذج عالمية لشركتين مختصتين بذلك وذلك من خلال تحليل كل منها وهو ما تم في المبحث الرابع إذ تم تحليل تلك العينات للوصول إلى النتائج في المبحث الخامس ومن أهمها. 1-أشكال وحدات الإنارة حاكت الصورة التي أراد المصمم نقلها للمتلقي مع تحقق الوظيفة المطلوبة منها. 2-لم يكن هناك محدد في القياس وهو ما وجد من خلال تباين قياس كل واحدة من تلك الوحدات عن الأخرى أي نوع وحدة الإضاءة أعطى مرونة في اعتماد القياس المناسب مع تحقق الوظيفة. 3-كل النماذج المختارة حملت معها سمات شكلية جديدة وهوية خاصة بها لا يستدل على الوظيفة فيها إلا بعد تحقق الداء فيها محققة سمة الغرابة بالشكل والأداء. أما الاستنتاجات الحاصل عليها كان أهمها 1-أن الاعتماد على الدايودات الضوئية في نظم الإضاءة يمثل أحد سبل الإقلال من التلوث البيئي. 2-التحول نحو مصابيح الدايود الضوئي تقلل من تكاليف الإضاءة على من حيث قيمتها كوحدات فضلا عن كلف الصيانة والاستبدال حيث أن عمرها الوظيفي يفوق أي نوع من المصابيح الأخرى وهذا الشيء جعلها اقتصادية من حيث الكلف. 3-أن الفيض الضوئي الحاصل من وحدات إضاءة الدايود الضوئي ينتج من مجموعة من المصابيح أو الوحدات الصغيرة أي وهو ما أعطى إمكانية توزيعها وفق نظم أكثر مرونة تتوافق مع شكل وحدة الإضاءة. 4-المرونة في التوزيع لوحدات الإضاءة كان باعثا على فك قيود الوظيفة على التصميم وتحرر المصمم بأفكاره لتكون هناك أشكال جديدة لتصاميم وحدات الإضاءة.
