المستخلص: Romancier, Diderot l'est quand il écrit la Religieuse vers 1780.
Diderot y fait agir et parler devant nous un des personnages originaux auxquels il s'intéressait à cause de leur non-conformisme.
Ainsi le tableau que constitue Le Neveu de Rameau est inspiré par une double passion, celle de Jean-François Rameau, le parasite qui hait, envie et méprise ses protecteurs, et celle du philosophe lui-même qui juge avec sévérité et ironie les suppôts du parti anti-philosophique. L'oeuvre reçoit son sens d'une profonde analyse sociale et d'une prise de conscience morale. L'auteur met le personnage dans la situation ou se relèvent ses sentiments contradictoires : la présence de l'oncle Rameau, représentant les hommes de génie. On peut dire quand même que l'attraction que constitue le genre dramatique pour Diderot se manifeste dans ce roman-dialogue assez court où il a introduit quinze pantomime d'une inégale répartition .
Dans le domaine littéraire , Diderot a laissé une doctrine sur tout ce qui peut être conte ou roman. Il se moque des romans d'aventures ou d'intrigue qui étaient toujours aimés des lecteurs.


Novelist, Diderot wrote La Religieuse in 1780.
Diderot makes one of the original characters in whom he was interested because of their non-conformism act and speech in front of us.
Thus the painting that constitutes Rameau's Nephew is inspired by a double passion, that of Jean-François Rameau, the parasite who hates, envies and despises his protectors, and that of the philosopher himself who judges with severity and irony the henchmen of the anti-philosophical party. The work receives its meaning from a deep social analysis and a moral awareness. The author puts the character in the situation where his contradictory feelings arise: the presence of Uncle Rameau, representing men of genius. One can say all the same that the attraction which constitutes the dramatic genre for Diderot is manifested in this rather short dialogue-novel in which he introduced fifteen pantomimes of an unequal distribution.
In the literary field, Diderot left a doctrine on everything that can be tale or novel. He laughs at the adventure or plot novels that were always loved by readers.
