Speaking skills play a significant role in daily communication and educational purposes. The aim of this research was to examine the effect of the flipped classroom instructional model on developing English language speaking skills of sixth year primary school pupils. In order to achieve this purpose, (60) pupils were randomly selected and divided into two groups; a control group that was the speaking skills through Traditional method and The experiment group that was taught the speaking skills through the flipped classroom instructional model, lasted for 3 months during the first term of 2016 - 2017 academic years. To collect data the researcher used oral speaking test. Based on the previous statistical analyses performed on the data; the researchers concluded that: teaching by using the flipped class room instructional model had a large effect size on six oral speaking skills. There is a statistically significant difference in degree (0.01) between the means of scores of students of the experimental group and control group in the post administration of speaking test. There was a statistically significant difference in degree (0.05) level between means of scores of the experimental group, and control group in the post- administration of the oral speaking test in favor of the post test. In the light of these findings the researchers recommended that: Flipped classroom teaching model should be implemented by the teachers in FFL classes of primary schools in Egypt.
