استهدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن طبيعة اتجاهات طالبات كلية التصاميم والاقتصاد المنزلي جامعة الطائف نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي بأبعاده (المعرفي -الوجداني -السلوكي -دور التخصص الدراسي)، كذلك التعرف على أوجه الفروق في اتجاهات طالبات الجامعة عينة الدراسة نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي بأبعاده تبعا لاختلاف كل من التخصص الدراسي، المستوي التعليمي للوالدين، عمل الوالدين، متوسط الدخل الشهري، الحالة الاجتماعية للطالبة. وقد اشتملت أدوات الدراسة على استمارة البيانات العامة، ومقياس اتجاهات طالبات الجامعة نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي من إعداد الباحثتان، واشتملت عينة الدراسة الأساسية على 300 طالبة من طالبات كلية التصاميم والاقتصاد المنزلي، تم اختيارهن بطريقة قصدية بواقع 50 طالبة من كل تخصص (إدارة السكن والمؤسسات الأسرية -التغذية وعلوم الأطعمة – التصميم الداخلي -الرسم الإلكتروني -الملابس والنسيج -الفنون) وذلك من طالبات السنة الرابعة لكل تخصص. وكان من أهم نتائج الدراسة: * وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات طالبات الجامعة في البعد الوجداني للاتجاه ودور التخصص في التشجيع نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي تبعا لاختلاف التخصص الدراسي لصالح قسم إدارة السكن والمؤسسات الأسرية. * وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات طالبات الجامعة في البعد الوجداني للاتجاه نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي تبعا لاختلاف المستوي التعليمي للأب لصالح المستوي التعليمي المتوسط. * وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات طالبات الجامعة في البعد السلوكي للاتجاه نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي تبعا لاختلاف المستوي التعليمي للأم لصالح المستوي التعليمي المتوسط. * وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات طالبات الجامعة في البعد المعرفي للاتجاه نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي تبعا لاختلاف عمل الأب لصالح الطالبات اللاتي يعمل آبائهن في القطاع الخاص. * وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات طالبات الجامعة في الاتجاه نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي ككل تبعا لمتوسط الدخل المالي للأسرة لصالح الأسر ذات الدخول المرتفعة. * وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين طالبات الجامعة في الاتجاه نحو المشاركة في العمل التطوعي ككل تبعا للحالة الاجتماعية لصالح الطالبات الآنسات. وكانت أهم التوصيات: * تفعيل وتعزيز دور الجامعات من خلال إقامة الدورات التدريبية والندوات التعليمية والثقافية لتنمية مهارات العمل التطوعي لدى طالبات الجامعة بهدف تنمية مهارات الفتاة الجامعية لخدمة أسرتها والارتقاء بمجتمعها. * استضافة الجامعة ما يمثل بعض المؤسسات والمنظمات والهيئات المعنية بالأعمال التطوعية النسائية في المجتمع السعودي وعمل لقاءات حوار نوعية مع طالبات الجامعة، وذلك لنشر الوعي بأعمال وأهداف وأهمية تلك المؤسسات ودورها في المجتمع وتوضيح الوسائل المتاحة للمشاركة في أنشطتها المختلفة، للاستفادة من الطاقات والموارد البشرية المتاحة في خدمة المجتمع وتحقيق التنمية الشاملة.
The present study aims to detect the nature of trends of the female students at the College of Design & Home Economics, Taif University, toward contribution in the volunteer work with its aspects (cognitive – sentimental – behavioral – role of the academic discipline) and also to detect the aspects of difference in the trends of the university female students “study sample” toward contribution in the volunteer work with its aspects as per the difference of each academic discipline, educational level of parents, work of parents, monthly average income and social status of the student. The study tools contained the general particulars form and scale of the university students’ trend toward contribution in the volunteer work prepared by the two researchers. The basic study sample contained 300 students from the students of the College of Design and Home Economics. The students were intentionally selected where 50 students were taken from each discipline (Home Management & Family Institutions – Nutrition & Food Science - Internal Design – Electronic Drawing – Clothes & Textiles – Arts) from the female students of the fourth grade of each discipline. The most important results of this study were as follows: - Presence of statistical indicative differences among the averages of the students’ scores with respect to the sentimental aspect of the trend and the role of discipline in encouraging toward contribution in the volunteer work pursuant to the difference of the academic discipline for favor of Home Management & Family Institutions Department. - Presence of statistical indicative differences among the averages of the students’ scores with respect to the sentimental aspect of the trend toward contribution in the volunteer work pursuant to the difference of the educational level of the father for favor of the intermediate educational level. - Presence of statistical indicative differences among the averages of the students’ scores with respect to the behavioral aspect of the trend toward contribution in the volunteer work pursuant to the difference of the educational level of the mother for favor of the intermediate educational level. - Presence of statistical indicative differences among the averages of the students’ scores with respect to the cognitive aspect of the trend toward contribution in the volunteer work pursuant to the difference of the father’s work for favor of the female students whose fathers are working in the private sector. - Presence of statistical indicative differences among the averages of the students’ scores with respect to the trend toward contribution in the volunteer work as a whole pursuant to the average income of the family for favor of the families enjoy high incomes. - Presence of statistical indicative differences among the university students with respect to the trend toward contribution in the volunteer work as a whole pursuant to the social status for favor of the unmarried female students. The most important recommendations were as follows: - Activate and enhance the role of universities via setting up training courses and educational and cultural seminars to develop the volunteer work skills for the university female students aiming to develop the skills of the university female student to serve her family and improve her community. - The university should invite certain institutions, organizations and entities working in the volunteer work of females in the Saudi community, further, to make specific dialogue meetings with the university students to raise awareness of the works, objectives and importance of these institutions and its role in the community and the methods available to participate in its different activities to benefit from the available human potentials and resources in serving the community and achieve comprehensive development
