المستخلص: يؤثر مرض سرطان الثدي على نفسية المصابة به بسبب ما يصاحبه من تغيرات جسدية ونفسية. لذلك تحتاج بعض المريضات إلى دعم مرافق للدعم العلاجي. وقد يكون مصمم الأزياء أحد أوجه الدعم من خلال تصميم أزياء مناسبة لوضع المريضة الصحي. بحيث تحقق لها هذه التصاميم الراحة، والثقة بالنفس، والمظهر اللائق في ظل التغيرات التي تتعرض لها أثناء فترات العلاج المختلفة. ونظراً لندرة الدراسات العلمية التي تناولت حلول ملبسيه للتغيرات التي تمر بها مريضة سرطان الثدي، فإن هذه الدراسة تهدف إلى حصر التغيرات الجسدية والنفسية التي تتعرض لها المريضة. إضافة إلى تحديد الصعوبات التي تواجهها في اختيار ملابسها. ومن ثم تصميم وتنفيذ بعض الحلول الملبسية الملائمة لوضعها الصحي. واستخدم في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي مع الدراسة التطبيقية. وشملت عينة الدراسة مريضات سرطان الثدي في مراحل علاجية مختلفة في المملكة العربية السعودية. واستخدم في جمع البيانات الاستبيان، والملاحظة، والمقابلة الشخصية. ومن أبرز نتائج الدراسة تعدد التغيرات الجسدية والنفسية التي تتعرض لها مريضة سرطان الثدي. ومعاناتها من عدم توفر ملابس ملائمة لوضعها الصحي والنفسي أثناء فترات العلاج المختلفة. كما أثبت الجزء التطبيقي نجاح التصميمات المقترحة وفقاً لرضى عينة البحث عنها. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة وجود تعاون بين المختصين في مجال الملابس والنسيج مع مراكز الدعم النفسي والصحي لمريضات سرطان الثدي لتقديم الاستشارات الملبسية الصحية والملائمة. كذلك دعم مصممي الأزياء وتحفيزهم على التنافس في التصميم والابتكار لتلبية الاحتياجات الملبسية لهذه الفئة. بالإضافة إلى أهمية دعم أبحاث الملابس والنسيج المرتبطة بحلول ملبسيه للأوضاع الصحية والنفسية، وإنشاء كراسي علمية تدعم التصميم والابتكار في هذا المجال.

Breast cancer disease affects patients’ psyche due to the physical and psychological changes they experience. Therefore, some breast cancer patients need a companion for their therapeutic support. The fashion designer can be a support through designing appropriate clothes suitable for the patient's health condition provided. These designs provide the patient comfort, self-confidence, and presentable appearance in light of the changes the patient experiences during different treatment periods. Due to the scarcity of academic studies dealing with clothing solutions relevant to the changes a breast cancer patient experiences, this study aims at identifying the physical and psychological changes the patient undergoes. In addition, it identifies the difficulties she faces in selecting her clothes. Then, designing and implementing some clothing solutions appropriate to her health condition. This research used the descriptive approach and the applied study. The sample of the study comprised of breast cancer patients in their different treatment stages in KSA. The study instruments used to collect data comprised of; questionnaire, observation and personal interview. The key results included the multiplicity of the physical and psychological changes a breast cancer patient experiences. And her suffering from the lack of adequate clothes suitable for her health and psychological condition during the different treatment periods. The applied part proved the success of the proposed designs according to the research sample satisfaction. The study recommended the necessity of cooperation between specialists in the field of clothing and textile with the psychological and health centers supporting breast cancer patients through providing health and appropriate clothing advice. In addition to supporting fashion designers and motivating them to compete in designing clothing for such category. As well as supporting clothing and textile research related to clothing solutions for health and psychological conditions. And establishing a scientific academy that supports design and innovation in this field.
