المستخلص: هذا المقال يسلط الضوء على إحدى الجوانب المتعلقة بفكر المصلح التونسي الشيخ عبد العزيز الثعالبي (1875 - 1944) والمتعلقة أساسا بموقفه من الأطروحات الاستعمارية، وقد تطرقنا إلى هذه المسألة من حيث توضيح انتقاداته لنظرية تخلف المنطقة المغاربية وحتمية خضوعها للاستعمار، وكشفنا عن الاعتراضات التي قدمها لتفنيد دعاوى الغربيين المشككة في أصول وهوية سكان المنطقة، كما تطرقنا كذلك إلى قضية مناهضته لمشروع الاستعمار الصهيوني في فلسطين.

This article highlights one of the aspects related to the thinking of the Tunisian reformer Sheikh Abdul Aziz Thaâlbi (1875-1944), which is mainly related to his position on colonial theses. We have discussed this issue to clarify his criticism of the theory of the delay of the Maghreb population and the inevitability of its colonialism. We have pointed out the objections he had made to refute the claims of Westerners who questioned the origins and identity of the Maghrebians, and we also discussed the question of his colonial anti-Zionist project.

Cet article met en lumière l'un des aspects liés à la pensée du réformateur tunisien Cheikh Abdul Aziz Thaâlbi (1875-1944), qui est principalement liée à sa position sur les thèses coloniaux. Nous avons discuté de cette question pour clarifier ses critiques sur la théorie du retard de la population du Maghreb et sur le caractère inévitable de son colonialisme. Nous avons souligné les objections qu'il avait faites pour réfuter les affirmations des Occidentaux qui remettaient en question les origines et l'identité des Maghrébins, et nous avons également discuté de la question de son projet colonial antisioniste.
