المستخلص: في تحد صريح لمشاعرها، لكينونتها ولوضعها الاجتماعي تتوغل الروائية الفرنسية آني إيرنو في روايتها (المكان) إلى عالم خاص، تنتمي إليه روحيا وماديا على الرغم مما تظهره في أسطر الرواية من التذمر والتمرد على هذا العالم الذي تسبب لها بنوع من الصراع الداخلي الذي انعكس على علاقتها مع أقرب الناس إليها: والديها. هكذا إذا، ومن خلال مشروع الكتابة المتمثل بهذه الرواية تحاول الكاتبة إيجاد نوع من التوازن وربما نوع من التصالح مع ذاتها يتجلى في فكرة تراود مخيلتها، سواء بوعي منها أو بغير إدراك، وهذه الفكرة تكمن في محاولة رد الاعتبار إلى عائلتها، خاصة والدها، الإنسان البسيط الذي بذل كل ما في وسعه كي تستطيع تلك الفتاة أن تشق طريقها في الحياة. في المجمل، رواية المكان تشكل مع أعمال أخرى لإيرنو مشروع كتابة بامتياز يؤسس لكتابة السيرة الذاتية للكاتبة وفي الوقت نفسه محطة مهمة من محطات الطموح الاجتماعي الذي أسهم في أن تقفز به الكاتبة إلى الطبقة البورجوازية التي لطالما حلمت بالانتماء إليها.

In a forthright challenge to her feelings, being and social status, the novelist Annie Ernaux in her novel La Place gets through a special world into which she belongs spiritually and physically despite the complaint and disobedience she reveals against this world which caused an internal conflict affecting her relation with her closest people, parents. Through the writing project represented in this novel, the writer tries to make a kind of balance, or reconciliation with herself, presented consciously or unconsciously in an idea in her imagination. This idea lays in trying to rehabilitate her family, especially her father, the simple person who strove to make his daughter forcing her way in life. In general, La Place, with other works, forms an excellent writing project that establishes the author’s autobiography and at the same time an important station of the social ambition that push the writer to be one of the bourgeois class she dreamed of for a long time.

Dans un défi à ses sentiments, à son être et à sa condition sociale également, la romancière française Annie Ernaux pénètre, avec son roman La Place, un monde distinctif auquel elle appartient spirituellement et matériellement. Ce défit surgit clairement en dépit de la révolte et du mécontentement qu'elle essaye de montrer à travers les lignes du roman contre ce monde qui lui a causé un conflit reflété par sa relation critique avec les gens les plus proches à elle : ses parents. Ainsi, à travers le projet d'écriture représenté par ce roman, l'écrivain essaie de trouver une sorte d'équilibre et peut-être une sorte de réconciliation avec soi qui se reflète, consciemment ou inconsciemment, dans son imagination. Cette réconciliation consiste à tenter de présenter une sorte de réhabilitation à sa famille, en particulier à son père, l'homme simple et modeste qui a tout fait pour que sa fille arrive à avoir un avenir et une vie confortables. En Somme, le roman de La Place figure, avec d’autres œuvres de l’écrivaine, UN projet d'écriture par excellence qui établit l’écriture autobiographique de l'écrivaine. De même, ce projet d’écriture s’avère important pour l'aspiration et l’ambition sociales d’Annie Ernaux. Nous pouvons dire que ce projet d’écriture a contribué au saut de l'écrivaine à la classe bourgeoise à laquelle elle a toujours rêvé d'appartenir.
