المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد جودة الموقع الإلكتروني لجامعة الفرات، والمعوقات التي تحول دون رفع مستوى جودته الإلكترونية استناداً إلى تصنيف ويبومتريكس الإسباني Webometrics of World Universities Ranking باعتباره أحد أهم المؤسسات العالمية المتخصصة بتقييم الجامعات في العالم، وقد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وأظهرت أهم النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها تراجع مستوى تنافسية جامعة الفرات أمام الجامعات السورية، والعربية، والعالمية، مما يدل على وجود ضعف في أبعاد الجودة الإلكترونية لموقعها الإلكتروني التي تتجلى بالرؤية للرابط، والملفات الثرية، وحجم الموقع، والبحث العلمي. كما كشفت الدراسة عن وجود بعض المعوقات التي ساهمت في تدني تصنيف جامعة الفرات منها: تواضع مستوى موقع الجامعة على الإنترنت، وعدم توثيق الأبحاث العلمية على موقعها الإلكتروني، وقلة النشر الخارجي باسم الجامعة، وضعف نشر الأبحاث باللغة الإنكليزية. وفي ضوء ذلك أوصت الدراسة بضرورة اهتمام الجامعة بشكل أكبر بجودة موقعها الإلكتروني وتحديثه باللغتين العربية والإنكليزية، وإنشاء روابط لقواعد البيانات، والاهتمام برقمنة الأبحاث العلمية والدراسات الخاصة بالجامعة باللغتين العربية والانكليزية، وتشجيع النشر الخارجي، إضافة إلى مقترحات أخرى.

This research aims to determine the quality of Alfurat University website and Difficulties that prevent increasing its electronic quality based on Webometrics of World Universities Ranking as one of the most important international institutions specialized in evaluating quality of universities in the world. To achieve this aim, a comparative approach is adopted. The most important results of this research were, The level of competition of the University of Alfurat was decreased compared to Syrian, Arab and international universities which indicates there are weakness in the dimensions of the electronic quality of its website, which is reflected in the vision of the link, and valuable files, size of site and scientific research; Although the university entered the Webometrics for the first time. The study indicated that there are some problems that effect on classification of Alfurat University, including: The simplicity of the university's website, decreasing Documentation of scientific research on its website, decreasing of research published outside Syria related to university, and decreasing research published in English language. The study recommended that the university should pay more attention to the quality of its website, updating it in Arabic and English, establishing links to databases, participating in electronic libraries, and taking care of digitizing scientific research and studies of the university in both Arabic and English, research published outside Syria and other proposals.
