تتعدد تقنيات تشكيل الخزف اليدوية فمنها (التشكيل بالحبال – الشرائح والمسطحات الطينية... إلخ) ومما لا شك فيه إن لكل منها إمكانات تشكيلية وجمالية متميزة، كما أن استخدام البطانات الطينية الملونة تعد مدخلا يمكن أن يثرى الشكل الخزفي جماليا. وحيث أن مقرر الفرقة الثانية – شعبة التربية الفنية – بكلية التربية النوعية – جامعة الفيوم تتلخص في دراسة تقنيات التشكيل اليدوية – واستخدام الأكاسيد كبطانات لونيه قبل الحريق الأول... وعلى هذا ترى الباحثة في موضوع هذا البحث إنه يمكن الجمع ما بين "اللون" و"تقنية التشكيل بالحبال COILING" كمدخل لأثراء الشكل الخزفي جماليا وإنتاج الطلاب لأشكال خزفية مستحدثة ومبتكرة. وقد حاولت الباحثة من خلال هذا البحث تدريب الطلاب وتوجيههم على استخدام اللون مع تقنية التشكيل بالحبال بعناية وأسلوب يتفق مع تصميم الشكل ومراعيا لأسس التصميم على أن يؤدي ذلك إلى إثراء الشكل الخزفي جماليا ... ثم قامت الباحثة بتجميع أعمال الطلاب وتحليلها حيث أثبتت من خلال ذلك صحة فروض البحث فقد استطاع الطلاب إنتاج أشكال خزفية مبتكرة ومنبثقة من الفن المعاصر ومستحدثة عن تلك الأشكال المعتاد إنتاجها بطريقة التشكيل بالحبال دون استخدام اللون مما يؤكد صحة فروض البحث.
