المستخلص: The aim of this research is to discover the role and level of security awareness and social responsibility in the prevention of terrorism among a sample of secondary school teachers in Jeddah province, as well as to verify the relationship between the prevention of terrorism and the security awareness and social responsibility, not to mention the aim to disclose the differences in the variables of the research, which are attributed to the difference of some demographic variables (gender- economic level- years of experience). The sample size reached (300) teachers, of which (150) were male teachers and (150) were female teachers. The Researcher used the Security Awareness Questionnaire; developed by the Researcher (2018), the Social Responsibility Questionnaire; developed by the Researcher (2018), the Prevention of Terrorism Questionnaire; developed by the Researcher (2018). The results revealed an associative correlation between all the research variables, the security awareness is highly available, that social responsibility is available to a medium degree, and that the prevention of terrorism is highly applicable to both male and female secondary school teachers in Jeddah province. The results further revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the total score on the scale of the security awareness according to the gender, the economic level and the years of experience variable. There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the total score on the scale of the social responsibility according to the gender, the economic level and the years of experience variable. There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the total score on the scale of the prevention of terrorism according to the gender, the economic level and the years of experience variable. This is an evidence of the greater role of security awareness in comparison to social responsibility towards the prevention of terrorism.

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن دور ومستوى الوعي الأمني والمسئولية الاجتماعية في الوقاية من الإرهاب لدى عينة من معلمي ومعلمات المرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة جدة، وأيضا التحقق من العلاقة بين الوقاية من الإرهاب وكل من الوعي الأمني والمسئولية الاجتماعية بجانب الكشف عن الفروق في متغيرات الدراسة والتي تعزى إلى اختلاف بعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية (الجنس- المستوى الاقتصادي- سنوات الخبرة)، وبلغ حجم العينة (٣٠٠)، من بينهم (١٥٠) من المعلمين، و(١٥٠) من المعلمات، استخدمت الباحثة مقياس الوعي الأمني من إعداد الباحثة (٢٠١٨)، مقياس المسئولية الاجتماعية من إعداد الباحثة (٢٠١٨)، مقياس الوقاية من الإرهاب من إعداد الباحثة (٢٠١٨)، حيث كشفت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية بين جميع متغيرات البحث، وأن الوعي الأمني متوفر بدرجة عالية، وأن المسئولية الاجتماعية متوفرة بدرجة متوسطة، وأن الوقاية من الإرهاب تطبق بدرجة عالية لدى كل من معلمي ومعلمات المرحلة الثانوية بمدينة جدة، كما كشفت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) في الدرجة الكلية على مقياس الوعي الأمني تبعا لمتغير الجنس، المستوى الاقتصادي، سنوات الخبرة، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) في الدرجة الكلية للمسئولية الاجتماعية تبعا لمتغير الجنس، المستوى الاقتصادي، سنوات الخبرة. ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى) 0.05) في الدرجة الكلية للوقاية من الإرهاب تبعا لمتغير الجنس، المستوى الاقتصادي، سنوات الخبرة. مما يدل على الدور الأكبر للوعي الأمني من المسئولية الاجتماعية في الوقاية من الإرهاب.
