المستخلص: إن حقيقة عزوف عدد كبير من الطلبة عن المطالعة، ظاهرة سلبية تعيشها كل جامعات بلادنا بعامة وفي الشعب الأدبية منها بخاصة. ويأتي مقالي هذا من زاوية بيداغوجية بحتة وبوساطة استبيان أراء عينة من طلبة قسم اللغة العربية وآدابها بمركز سوق أهراس الجامعي شهر نوفمبر 2004، ليتناول موضوع واقع قراءة هؤلاء الطلبة وأمثالهم بالتبعية. وقد اقتضت طبيعة الموضوع التطرق إلى مفهوم القراءة، وأنواعها، وتوجيه الطلبة وحثهم على حسن استغلال المقروء وبخاصة إذا كانت القراءة في المقررات قصد التحصيل والبحث عن المعلومة لإنجاز العروض وشتى أنواع البحوث، وقد تمحور سبر الآراء حول أسئلة أساسية ثلاثة: ماذا؟ ومتى؟ وكيف تقرأ؟

Le manque d'intérêt à la lecture chez un grand nombre d'étudiants, est un phénomène négatif que vivent toutes nos universités en général, et en particulier dans les filières littéraires. Mon présent article traite d'un coté pédagogique et par le biais d'un sondage d'opinion- dont l'échantillon se compose d'étudiants en graduation au département de Langue et Littératures arabes au Centre universitaire de Souk-Ahras – le mois de Novembre 2004. Un thème sur la réalité de lecture chez ces étudiants et similaires. Le sujet s'est axé sur trois questions principales: Qu'est-ce-que, Quand, et Comment lisez-vous?

The fact that many students are reluctant to read is a negative phenomenon experienced by all the universities of our country in general and the literature departments in particular. This article of mine is written from a purely pedagogical angle and uses a survey of the opinions of a sample of students from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the University Center of Souk Ahras in November 2004 to address the issue of the reality of reading of these students and their ilk by extension. The nature of the subject necessitated addressing the concept of reading and its types, guiding students and urging them to make good use of what is read, especially if reading in courses is intended to be the purpose of achievement and the search for information to complete presentations and various types of research. Probing opinions revolved around three basic questions: What? When? and how do you read? This abstract was translated by AlMandumah Inc.
