المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن دور الأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية المهارات القيادية لدى طالبات جامعة حفر الباطن من وجهة نظرهن، مع إعطاء تصور مقترح للتطوير. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام منهج البحث الوصفي التحليلي، حيث قامت الباحثة بإعداد استبانة مكونة من جزأين، تناول الجزء الأول منها درجة إسهام الأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية المهارات القيادية لدى طالبات جامعة حفر الباطن، وتكون من (21) فقرة، في حين تضمن الجزء الثاني منها أبرز المعوقات التي تحول دون تفعيل تلك الأنشطة لدورها في تنمية المهارات القيادية لدى طالبات الجامعة، وتكون من (10) فقرات. وبعد التأكد من صدق الأداة وثباتها تم توزيعها على عينة عشوائية مكونة من (375) طالبة، من مجتمع الدراسة البالغ (15039) طالبة. وبعد إجراء التحليلات الإحصائية المناسبة أظهرت نتائج الدراسة: أن المتوسط الحسابي لدور الأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية المهارات القيادية لدى طالبات جامعة حفر الباطن من وجهة نظرهن بلغ (2.12) ضمن درجة تقدير متوسطة، في حين بلغ المتوسط الحسابي للمعوقات التي تواجه تلك الأنشطة (2.24) وبدرجة تقدير متوسطة. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة قامت الباحثة بوضع تصور مقترح لزيادة فاعلية دور الأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية المهارات القيادية لدى طالبات الجامعة.

The study aimed at revealing the role of student extra-curricular activities in developing leadership skills among female undergraduates of Hafr Al-Batin University along with providing a proposed development vision. Aiming to achieve the objectives of the study, the analytical descriptive research approach was used, as the researcher prepared a two-part questionnaire. The first part included The degree to which student extra-curricular activities contribute to the development of leadership skills among female students of Hafr Al-Batin University, and it consisted of (21) items. The second part included The prominent challenges inhibiting those activities from being activated in the role of developing leadership skills among university students, and it consisted of (10) items. After validating confirming the reliability of the tool, it was distributed to a random sample of (375) students out of the (15039) students who form the total study population. After conducting the appropriate statistical analyzes, the findings revealed that following: the value arithmetic mean of the role of student extra-curricular activities in developing leadership skills among female undergraduates of Hafr Al-Batin University from their own perspective was (2.12) with a moderate score. Whereas, the value of the arithmetic mean of the challenges that face these activities was (2.24) with a moderate score. In the light of the study findings, the researcher developed a proposal to raise the effectiveness of the student activities’ role in developing leadership skills among female university students.
