تناول اللغويون مصطلح (القوة والضعف) إلى جانب مصطلح (الخفة والثقل)، وتبين من الدراسة أنه ليس كل قوي بالضرورة أن يكون ثقيلاً، وكذا الحال فيما يتعلق بالضعف والخفة؛ ولهذا لا نستطيع وضع خطوط مستقيمة بين المصطلحين. ونظرًا لأهمية دلالة (القوة والضعف) في تنازع الحركات، وتأثير الأصوات على بعضها، وطرق كتابة الهمزة في وسط الكلمة وآخرها خاصة، تناول الباحث الأمور التالية: - هل الخفة والثقل نظيرًا القوة والضعف. - القوانين والصفات الصوتية (المخالفة، المماثلة، قانون جرامرنت، الجهد الأقل). - القوة والضعف على المستوى: الصرفي، المستوى النحوي، المستوى الكتابي. أما بالنسبة لأهم نتائج البحث فهي: 1 - تعلل ظاهرة الإعراب المقدر لضعف الحروف التي تحمل الحركات، وقضية القوة والضعف نسبية. 2 - مصطلح (الخفة والثقل) نحوي، أما مصطلح (القوة والضعف) فاصلة من علم المنطق والكلام، والتبس استخدام المصطلحين على العلماء. 3 - تباينت دراسات القدماء والمحدثين في ترتيب قوة الحركات وجاءت النتائج غير متوافقة بين الطرفين. 4 - يعتمد رسم الكلمات إملائيًا على قوة الحركات، وهذه القوة تلعب دورًا بارزًا في رسم الهمزات الواقعة وسط الكلمة على وجه الخصوص. 5 - الصوت القوي يؤثر على الصوت الضعيف فيحوله إلى صوت يشبهه أو يقترب منه في المخرج أو يذهب به كصوت أخر يقع بينهما ويسمى (الإمالة)، وهذه الظاهرة تشبه محصلة القوتين، وقد تتجه نحو المجانسة أو المخالفة. \

Regarding the importance of significance (strengths and weaknesses) in extracting the vowel marks (harakat), and the impact of sounds on each others, and ways of writing the hamza in the middle and particularly at the end of a word, the research addressed the following issues:- - Are lightness and weight equivalent to strengths and weaknesses. - Laws and qualities of voice (unidenticallity or identically, like, the law of Gramont, least effort). - Strengths and weaknesses on the levels of morphology, grammar and writing. The most important results of this research are: 1. The phenomenon of grammatical functions is estimated to express the weakness of the letters which carry" the vowel marks(harakat), and the issue of strengths and weaknesses is relative. 2. The term (lightness and weight) is grammatical, whereas The term (strength and weaknesses) is of an origin of logic and speech.The two terms were confusing to linguists. 3. Studies of ancient and modern showed different results in ordering the strength of vowel marks (harakat). 4 Arabic script depends on the strength of vowel marks(harakat) of words, and this strength plays a prominent role in writing hamza, particularly in the middle of words. 5 The strong sound influences the weak sound, and changes it to a similar one in Term of the place of articulation or transfers it to a new sound that lies in the middle - a concept that is called skew(Imalah) and this phenomenon is similar to the outcome of the two forces, and it could move toward homogenization, or violation. \
