المستخلص: تعالج هذه الورقة البحثية مسألة واقع اقتصاد المعرفة في الجزائر ولماذا بلد مثل الجزائر وبالرغم من الخزان الهائل من الثروات الطبيعية والبشرية والمساحة الشاسعة 2 مليون و381 ألف كلم مربع الى تمتلكها ليس بمقدوها التموقع في السكة التى تسمح لها بإقامة اقتصاد قوي ومستدام قائم على اقتصاد المعرفة، ورغم كل المجهودات المبذولة فإن مؤشر اقتصاد المعرفة يقدر ر 3.79 سنة 2012، وهو مؤشر ضعيف ويدل على أن أداء الاقتصاد الجزائر ضعيف إذا ما قورن بمؤشر مثل الإمارات العربية المتحدة أو العربية السعودية أو حتى الدول المجاورة.

Cet article traite la question de l’economie de la connaissance en Algérie et pourquoi un pays comme l’Algerie en dépit du réservoir important de richesses naturelles et humaines et la superficie de 02 millions 381 milles kilomètres carrés dont elle dispose n ‘arrive pas à se positionner sur la trajectoire lui permettant d’assoir une économie solide et durable basée sur l’économie de la connaissance. Malgré tous les éfforts consentis l’indice de l’économie de la connaissance est de 3.79 en 2012, cet indice faible prouve de la faiblesse de la performance de l’éeconomie Algerienne comparée à l’indice des pays comme les Emirates Arabes Unies ou l’Arabie Seoudite ou à l’indice des pays voisins.

This research paper addresses the issue of the reality of the knowledge economy in Algeria and why a country like Algeria, despite the huge reservoir of natural and human resources and the vast area of 2 million and 381 thousand square kilometers that it owns, is not able to sit on the track that allows it to establish a strong and sustainable economy based on the knowledge economy. Despite all the efforts made, the knowledge economy index was estimated at 3.79 in 2012, which is a weak indicator that indicates that the performance of the Algerian economy is weak when compared to an indicator such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, or even the neighboring countries.
