المستخلص: تهدف هذه المداخلة إلى إبراز دور الشمندر السكري في التنمية السوسيو-اقتصادية بالمنطقة السقوية دكالة، وذلك من خلال تحديد مكانة هذا المنتوج الزراعي في تحقيق تنمية الفلاح الدكالي ومساهمته، في الإنتاج الجهوي والوطني لمادة السكر. تتجلى الدينامية السوسيو-اقتصادية لهذا المنتوج من خلال خلق فرص عمل مباشرة وغير مباشرة بالحيازة الفلاحية، ومعمل السكر عن طريق الاستثمار المباشر للفلاح والرفع من قيمة الإنتاج بفعل تواجد أحد أكبر معامل السكر المغربية بالمنطقة (معمل السكر سيدي بنور) بطاقة استيعابية 15000 طن في اليوم.

The purpose of this intervention is to highlight the role of sugar beets in the socio-economic development of the "Dukkala" irrigated area as a case study, by means of knowledge of the status of this agricultural product in achieving the development of the Dekkali farmer and the contribution to the regional and national production of sugar in particular. The socio-economic dynamic of this Product is reflected in the creation of direct and indirect employment both in the agricultural land as well as the sugar factory. This is done through the direct investment of the fanners and the raising of the volume of production through the presence of one of the biggest sugar factories in Morocco (in the region of Sidi Bennour) with a production capacity of 15000 tons a day.

Cette présentation vise à souligner le rôle de la betterave sucrière dans le développement sociaux- économique, étude de cas du périmètre irriguée de Doukkala à travers la connaissance du rôle de ce produit agricoles dans la réalisation du développement de l’agriculteur Doukkali et la contribution à la production régionale et nationale de sucre en particulier. La dynamique sociaux-économique de ce produit est reflété à travers la création d’emplois direct et indirect dans l’exploitation agricole et dans l’usine de sucre, est ceux par des investissements directs par les agriculteurs et l’augmentation du volume de production par la présence d'une des plus grandes usines de sucre au Maroc (usine de sucre de Sidi Bennour) avec une capacité de production de 15.000 tonnes par jour.
