المستخلص: مما لا شك فيه أن أدوات التخطيط الحضري قد لعبت دورا هاما في تنظيم وتطور المدينة. في سياق ذلك، حاول المتدخلون في الشأن الحضري تجاوز الإكراهات البيئية المطروحة وحفز التنمية المستدامة عن طريق التحكم في استغلال المجال بواسطة أدوات التعمير. ومع ذلك، تشهد مدينة سطات، على غرار العديد من المدن المغربية، تحديات ومشاكل بيئية، نتيجة التزايد الديمغرافي والطلب المتزايد على المساكن، وتدهور وتراجع المساحات الخضراء في العمليات العمرانية بسبب هيمنة إعمال حالات الاستثناء التعميري. في ظل هذه الظروف، تسعى هذه المقالة إلى تسليط الضوء على المكانة التي تشغلها المسألة البيئية وانعكاساتها السوسيو-مجالية على المجال الحضري لمدينة سطات.

The tools of the urban planning have played an important role, regarding the organization and operation of the city. The documents of town planning have tried to lift the constraints related to the environment and to stimulate a sustainable development. However, following the example of the Moroccan cities, the city of Settat, constitutes a geographical, economic and social space, knowing challenges and environmental problems, because of the strong demographic pressure, the increasing demand in housing, and the degradation of the green spaces to profile projects of housing environment in view of the predominance of the urbanism derogatory. It brings us, within the framework of this article, to wonder about the environmental issue and their socio-spatial impact in the city of Settat.

Les outils de la planification urbaine ont joué un rôle important, en matière d’organisation et de fonctionnement de la ville. Les documents d’urbanisme ont essayé de lever les contraintes liées à l’environnement et de stimuler un développement durable. Toutefois, à l’instar des villes marocaines, la ville de Settat, constitue un espace géographique, économique et social, connaissant des défis et des problèmes environnementaux, à cause de la forte pression démographique, de la demande croissante en logements, et de la dégradation des espaces verts par l’augmentation du nombre des projets d’habitat, vu la prédominance de lurbanisme dérogatoire. Cela nous amène, dans le cadre de cet article, à nous interroger sur la question environnementale et son impact socio-spatial dans la ville de Settat.
