المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي في جامعة ذمار من وجهة نظر (أعضاء هيئة التدريس)، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة اتبع الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتمثلت أداة الدراسة في استبانة جرى التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. وتألَّف مجتمع الدراسة من (225) عضواً من هيئة التدريس، وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية تناسبية بلغت (142) عضواً. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي لها (2.93)، وبأهمية (58.7). كما تبين بأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في إجابات أفراد العينة حول مستوى تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي تعزى لمتغير: "النوع، الدرجة العلمية، التخصص، الكلية، سنوات الخبرة، عدد الدورات في مجال ضمان الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي". واختتمت الدراسة بتوصيات ومتعلقة بالنتائج التي توصلت إليها، وهي كالآتي: ‌أ. ضرورة الالتزام بتحديث وتطوير البرامج الأكاديمية في الكليات بالشكل الذي يؤدي إلى إكساب الطلاب مهارات علمية وعملية بما يتلاءم مع متطلبات سوق العمل. ‌ب. ضرورة مراجعة التخصصات الموجودة حالياً والعمل على استحداث تخصصات جديدة. ‌ج. زيادة الاهتمام بالجودة والتحسين المستمر في الجوانب الأكاديمية والإدارية والعمل على تطويرها. ‌د. ضرورة تجهيز وصف وظيفي لكل الأعمال والوظائف الإدارية داخل الكليات. ‌ه. ضرورة إعادة تأهيل المرافق الخاصة بالكليات لتكون صالحة للاستخدام. ‌و. الاهتمام بتوفير أجهزة ووسائل تعليمية حديثة. ‌ز. ضرورة تفعيل الرقابة المالية على كل موارد الكليات وآليات صرفها. ‌ح. ضرورة الإسراع في إنجاز استكمال تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة المستوى الأول (بداية).

The aim of the present study is to identify the extent of application of the quality assurance and academic accreditation standards at Thamar University from the viewpoint of the faculty members. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers followed the descriptive and analytical approach. A questionnaire was used as a study tool of which validity and reliability have been verified. The study population consisted of (225) faculty members, and a random stratified sample of (142) faculty members was selected. The results of the study showed that the application level of the quality assurance and academic accreditation standards came to a moderate degree, with an arithmetic mean of (2.93), and of relative importance (58.7). It was also found that there are no statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample members about the level of application of quality assurance and academic accreditation standards due to the variables: “gender, academic degree, specialization, college, years of experience, number of courses in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation”. The study concluded with recommendations related to its findings, as follows: a. The need to the modernization and development of academic programs in the colleges in a manner that leads to provide students with scientific and practical skills in line with the requirements of the labor market. b. Review the existing disciplines and work on the development of new specialties. c. Paying attention to the quality and continuous improvement in the academic and administrative aspects and work to develop them. d. Provide a functional description of all the work and administrative functions within the faculties. e. Rehabilitating facilities for the colleges to be usable. f. Providing modern teaching technology, devices and means. g. Activating financial control over all the resources of the colleges and mechanisms of disbursement. h. Completing the implementation of quality assurance standards should be accelerated at the first level.
