المستخلص: الأدب مرآة كل أمة، فحياة الإنسان في كل مراحلها وأطوارها، لها دور مهم فيما ينتجه الأديب من أدب وفن. لذا عكف دارسو الأدب على دراسة أدب كل أمة، مبرزين السمات الخاصة به وما يميزه عن غيره، وكذلك دراسة وعقد الموازنات والمقارنات بين آداب الأمم. فالأدب المقارن هو علما يدرس ظواهر التأثر والتأثير بين الآداب القومية، بل هو نوعا من الدراسات الأدبية والنقدية التي تتفاعل مع المذاهب النقدية المعاصرة كنظرية التلقي ونظرية التناص، من هنا يعمد هذا البحث إلى قراءة نقدية مقارنة بين رسالة الغفران لأبي العلاء المعري والكوميديا الإلهية لدانتي للتحقق من مدى تأثر دانتي برسالة الغفران من خلال عدة محاور: مقدمة، رسالة الغفران أهميتها ومكانتها في الأدب العربي والأدب الإنساني، الكوميديا الإلهية، تأثر دانتي في (الكوميديا الإلهية) بأبي العلاء المعري في (رسالة الغفران)، وخاتمة. تقوم هذه القراءة على جملة من المناهج وخاصة المنهج التأريخي (الاستردادي)، حيث يتم البحث في التاريخ، وسنستعين بالمنهج الوصفي حيث يلزم السياق ذلك، وهكذا مع سائر المناهج.

Literature is the mirror of every nation, because human life in all its stages and phases has an important role in what a writer produces in terms of literature and art. Therefore, scholars of literature have been studying the literature of each nation, highlighting its features and what distinguishes it from others, as well as studying and making balances and comparisons between the literatures of nations. Comparative literature is a discipline that studies the phenomena of influence among national literatures. It is a kind of literary and critical studies that interact with contemporary critical doctrines such as the theory of receptivity and the theory of intertextuality. From here this research aims to critically read a comparison between Risalat al-Ghufran (Message of Forgiveness) of Abu Ala' Al Ma'arri and the divine comedy of Dante to verify the extent to which Dante was influenced by Risalat al-Ghufran through several axes: an introduction, Risalat al-Ghufran, its importance and place in Arabic and human literature, the divine comedy, Dante's influence in the (The Divine Comedy) by Abu Ala' Al Ma'arri in the (Risalat al-Ghufran), and a conclusion. This reading is based on a number of approaches, especially the historical (retrospective) approach, where history is researched, and we will make use of the descriptive approach wherever the context requires it, and so on with the rest of the approaches.
