|b The research aims to track the Egyptians rebellions in general and the Copts rebellions in particular during the reign of Caliph Al-Ma’mun. It traces the historical events of the conflict that took place between Al Amin and Al-Ma’mun and its reflection in Egypt; as well as the events that took place during the reign of the Abbasid rulers in Egypt and the emergence of some local forces to monopolize power. The research also includes a historical overview of the Arab presence in Egypt since ancient times, and their stability that coincided with the Islamic conquests in Egypt. The research used the historical, descriptive and analytical method, and concluded with a number of results, most importantly: the wrong financial policies practiced by the rulers of Egypt and their tax workers during the Islamic era, particularly duringthe era of Al-Ma’mun, had a major role in creating cases of rebellion against the caliphate. The arrival of the Caliph Al-Ma'mun himself to Egypt during the Bashmurians Revolthad a role in achieving some justice and getting Egypt back to the bosom of the Abbasid Caliphate.

|a يهدف البحث إلى تتبع تمردات المصريين بشكل عام والأقباط بصورة خاصة خلال فترة حكم الخليفة المأمون، من خلال تتبع الأحداث التاريخية للصراع الذي دار بين الأمين والمأمون وانعكاس ذلك على مصر، وكذلك الأحداث في فترة الولاة العباسيين في مصر خلال تلك الفترة، وظهور بعض القوى المحلية للاستئثار بالسلطة، يسبق ذلك لمحة تاريخية عن الحضور العربي في مصر منذ أقدم العصور، واستقرارهم الذي تزامن مع الفتوحات الإسلامية في مصر. أُستخدم في البحث المنهج التاريخي الوصفي والتحليلي، وقد ختم البحث بعدد من النتائج، من أهمها: اتباع السياسات المالية الخاطئة لولاة مصر وعمال خراجها في العصر الإسلامي، وعصر المأمون على وجه الخصوص كان لها دور رئيسي في خلق حالات التمرد على الخلافة، وكان لقدوم الخليفة المأمون بنفسه إلى مصر أثناء ثورة البشمورد دور في تحقيق بعض العدل وإعادة مصر إلى حضيرة الخلافة العباسية.
