هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف إلى المفاهيم الصحية والبيئية المتضمنة فى كتب العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية فى فلسطين من خلال الإجابة عن السؤالين الآتيين: 1- ما المفاهيم الصحية التى تضمنتها كتب العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية فى فلسطين؟ 2- ما المفاهيم البيئية التى تضمنتها كتب العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية فى فلسطين؟ وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة قام الباحثان بتطوير أداة لقياس المفاهيم الصحية والبيئية المتضمنة فى كتب العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية تكونت فى صورتها النهائية من (11) مجالاً للمفاهيم الصحية و(8) مجالات للمفاهيم البيئية. وتم استخدام النسب المئوية والمتوسطات الحسابية والتكرارات والجداول الإحصائية للمفاهيم الصحية والبيئية الواردة فى كتب العلوم، للحكم على نسبة توافر المفاهيم الصحية والبيئية فى كتب العلوم. وأظهرت النتائج أن نسبة المجالات الصحية التى غطتها كتب العلوم بلغت (72.7%) ونسبة المجالات البيئية التى غطتها كتب العلوم بلغت (66.7%). وقد أوصت الدراسة إلى ضرورة تضمين كتب العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية للمفاهيم الصحية والبيئية التى افتقرت إليها وإلى ضرورة عرض هذه المفاهيم بطريقة متسلسلة ومتكاملة مما سيزيد من وعى الطالب لتلك المفاهيم وسيزيد من اهتمامه بصحته وبيئيته مما سينعكس إيجابيا على صحة المجتمع وبيئته.
The study aimed to identify the health and environmental concepts that are included in science books at the basic stage in Palestine through answering the following questions: 1- What health concepts included in science books of the basic stage in Palestine? 2- What environmental concepts included in science books of the basic stage in Palestine? To answer the questions of the study the researchers developed a tool to measure the concepts of health and environmental concepts that are included in science books of the basic stage consisted in its final form of (11) fields of concepts of health and (8) fields of environmental concepts. Percentages and averages, duplicates and statistical tables of the concepts of health and environmental sciences contained in books, to judge the proportion of the availability of health and environmental concepts in science books. The results showed that the percentage of fields covered by the health science books amounted to (72.7%). And the percentage of fields covered by the environmental science books amounted to (66.7%). The study recommended the need to include science books of the stage of the basic concepts of health and environmental that lacked it, and the need` to view these concepts in a sequential manner and integrated, which would increase the awareness of students to these concepts and will increase interest in his health and his environment which will reflect positively on the health of the community and the environment.
